Hi Cazzydevon, no you claim for all of the £30 back.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Bank: Northern Bank in Northern Ireland
Amount Reclaimed: £1233
Amount Paid: £1000
Story: Used Martin's template letters - gave them 14 days from 31 Jan 07 and then 7 days warning of small claims court. They wrote and asked to meet to agree a settlement which we did on Friday 23rd. The whole process took 23 days. Thanks to Martin we're £1000 richer today. BRILLIANT0 -
Woot! My first post!
I am currently in the process of claiming from Natwest (2 accounts) and Capital One.
Now, although I disagree with the amount they charge, I am responsible for most of the charges I was hit with (direct debits, going mad on Ebay, etc) I have since realised how bad it could have got if I had carried on.
Because of this, I am only claiming back the difference between the charge and how much it actually cost them. I think it unfair of me to go and try for the whole lot as it was my fault in the first place.
The funny thing is, I first heard of the whole reclaiming bank charges thing when a letter from one of my customer dropped on my desk on Tuesday morning (I collect debt for a cheque cashing company). The only difference with our charges and the banks charges is that the letters are manually sent out to our customers, and we call them as soon as they become in debt to us - because of that we try not to refund our £25 charges and we can justify them.

Dear Actionie People!!!
I was hoping you could help with two queries?
1. I can’t see Amex under any of the claim details or group success stories. I am hoping to tackle them, can I?
2. Also, should I claim the full amount plus interest, or should I delete the new £12 fee that all cards seem to charge now?
Please could you point me in the correct direction.
Many Thanks

Looked through it, but NO ONE has had any obvious success against Amex... Any other ideas?

You need to do a trawl through the Success Stories and see if anyone has posted their success.0 -

Cheers.
What about the charges minus the agreed £12???? Would you add those in also. I have only claimed those charges that are above £12. But without minus £12... Bad English, but I guess you know what i mean.
Thanks for your help so far0
