    Bank: Bank of Scotland
    Amount claimed: £812.07
    Amount received: £812.07

This is in addition to my earlier claim for £5388 that was settled a week ago (already reported on this thread). This one went a little further - the cheque arrived today, half an hour after I requested judgement. Talk about taking things to the wire.

I am now waiting for a reply to letter 1 to HBOS for £3000 plus interest. Going to tackle the naughty credit card companies at the same time. This has been an incredible month and, as ever, I will always be indebted to the wisdom and support of Rex Mundi and Edinburghlass which has been encouraging - and always totally realistic. Thank you.

    ROLLING TOTAL: £552,376.75

    Abbey next

Rolling Total £556,742.75 keep it going!!

Unlikely, if payments are up to date.
  • Hi,

I am just getting ready to send a letter off on behalf of my partner for the charges on his HOF store card.

He is sure that is was done through GE Capital Ltd. however, on his credit report, his store card is listed under the name C. L. Finance

Does this mean they have changed companies and if so, who do we write to as the account is now closed?

Has anyone else claimed from a HOF card?

    Thanks

Just found out that GE Capital do do the store cards for HOF just in case anyone else was wanting to claim from them :D

Hi ya, does the 40 day time limit include weekends, or is it only work days monday to friday?
My letter requesting the charges was recieved on 14/2 (electronc proof of delivery now available on royalmaols web site) & if the waiting period includes weekends, my date for the 40day time period is 26/3, if it's only monday to fridays, then it's 11/4. hopefully it includes weekends, bring it on !!

    Hiya,

ON THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONS WEBSITE IN THE F.A.Q SECTION IT STATES THAT THEY HAVE 40 CALENDER DAYS TO SUPPLY THE INFO, NOT WORKING DAYS SO THIS DOES INCLUDE WEEKENDS YES.....

Thats exactly how i feel about it £1800 is good but £600 more will be a lot better. I think most people who are in the position of having bank charges are the people who can least afford to be charged them and that we should take them for as much as we can!!!
Have you only had the one offer? Please let me know how you get on, Natwest have until a week on Monday to enter a defence as the have aknowledged the claim.
    Thanks for your advice steve

  • Thanks. Also, in Martin's step by step guide he says "it takes five days for the claim to be "serviced" and all deadline dates start from that point." That means working days right? So that means if I submit the from today (Friday), the deadline dates start from next Friday 2/3/07? Also I am filling out the form just finished the particulars of claim section, does my claim include any issues under the human rights act? Do I need to reserve the right to claim interest?

I am in the same situation. Received a part payment of £750 today but that is £550 short of what I am claiming for incl interest and charges. I am going to sit it out and persue them for the rest.
