SORRY I DONT MEANT TO BE SH!TTY OR OFFEND ANYONE! (thats a joke with the capiatals by the way)
I've just had enough with my bank and the delaying tactics they are using and would really like some help.0 -
My opinion only, I would give them until Monday/Tuesday and if nothing then send the letter before action. As its now Thursday, they wouldn't be opening a LBA until Monday anyway when the next timeframe would start.0

Bank: CO-OP
Amount claimed: £2400
Amount recieved: £2400
On sending first template letter demanding reimbursement for charges against my account, recieved a "goodwill gesture" of £1100. Declined there part payment and demanded the rest with 8% interest, within the week my account was credited with the full amount claimed (2/2/2007), didn`t even get to the court stage:beer:
Many thanks to this great site:T0 -

Bank: HSBC
Amount claimed: £75
Amount received: £75
Wrote to HSBC on 4/1/07 using Martin's 2nd template, got a reply within the stipulated 14 days or so, stating that HSBC will investigate further. Just got the reply yesterday (on Valentine's Day too! what a pleasant surprise) stating that they will return the £75 to my account, but this is not an admission of liability on their part, merely to avoid high legal costs. I really am very pleased with the result, I wasn't expecting it. Thank you very much, Martin (and everyone else!)0 -
Between mine and my husbands accounts we claimed £515. Received offer letters totalling £485 so we'll accept that. Took a while as we first wrote to them 21st November but have received 2 holding letters between.
Very pleased with this result and have been proclaiming it from the roof tops to all who'll listen!!!
Going to look back through my credit card statements, although I've always been good with this and have asked for some statements from closed accounts I had whilst a student so I'll see if I can add to the total!!0 -
Bank: Natwest
Amount Reclaimed: £1560 + interest
