Hi folks. I wish to share a good experience of E2 Save. Without crowing, I have received all monies owing to me without hassle. I think its only fair to credit E2 Save from my own dealings, obviously not the case for many others, of whom I wish the best of luck to, and urge the company to right the wrongs - giving customers their rightful chequebacks.

You're obviously talking about an old contract; I've had loads of them. Try a new one before you sing their praises now - IF you can find one!0

mobilejunkie, of course I can sing their praises on my own recent experience, that is part of the idea of these forums so that people can make an informed decision if they are looking to buy a contract phone. As to a future performance and their new t&c's - how do I know ? I have also had a few phone contracts with cashbacks and found this one to have been the best for me bar none. If you check out my other posts, you will see that I will readily speak up if there is a problem - and trust it only fair to give praise where I feel due. Ta0

"Future performance" is based on current practice. THAT changed in June - after your older contracts. Your advice based on recent exoerience is also based on an OLD contract. Advice for others needs to be based on things as they are now - not as they used to be. There is a constant theme of people who previously (like us) had good experiences with E2Save appearing on here to say thnat things are no longer so straightforward - as well as people like who who have no experience of their (now old "newer" contracts) AND practices saying how straightforward they are. It is entirely misleading to suggest that cpw is fair and straightforward NOW (or have been for the last 6 months on deals taken out in THAT timeframe). I have found it pays to keep up to date now more than ever. Caveat emptor definitely NOW applies to cpw!0

I do not mislead anyone. I only post truths from my pospective of things which I clearly stated. I also don't give advice, that I leave to others. Looking briefly at the newer t&c's I, myself would definitely take a long hard look at them before entering into any such contract.0

It's not actually the new t&c - which aren't in fact there now (changed again). I'ts to do with their intentions and practice; they mislead and actually give WRONG dates/bills for cashback claims (just one example). It is their intent and the new IIC - NOT their structure. Fine though - you (like me and thousands of others) HAVE had good experiences. I have a few older contracts still running too. Of course, giving positive feedback based on contracts/cashbacks from an entirely different era may not be "advice" - but it does imply that they are ok if nothing else. However, I have had dozens of cashback deals for myself and friends/family regularly during the last 18 months and can only repeat; THINGS HAVE changed!0

Thanks for the advice, at the moment I am on the lookout for a good deal but I totally agree that there is little on the market that is worth gambling on, and seriously considering a sim - only deal. Phones on the lower tariffs seem to be really poorly specced compared with last years w810i deal i got for nearly nowt. Keep looking eh!

Only nearly nowt? Mine was free. However, it was with E2Save - and I am still advising people not to go there unless they REALLY undertastand them NOW! No free deals now; blame the crusaders. Sim only is the best there is, at least for now. of course, should people stop using cpw they may thing again. However, as long as the IIC is there I'd beware!0

When I say nearly free, I meant to say it was a free phone but after paying £30 p.m and receiving c/backs and quidcos bit, it was £54 give or take a bit for overrunning on texts/calls :money: and cos ive looked after it, I'll probably get about £35 -£40 for it assuming I dont need it for a sim-only !0

Ok, just got back from holiday.
I've got 3 cheques in the post! Two for the cashbacks they owed me, and one covering my legal costs.
However, their original offer said that my terms and conditions will change to the new ones. I declined this, but they've still sent me the cheques.
If I cash those cheques, is it a way of accepting that deal. I've not signed anything, but I'm sure I've heard before that if you cash the cheque it's like agreeing to the offer.
They're not responding to any of my emails. I don't really want to have to call them as it's costing me again which ironically is what part of the claim is about!
I did decline their first offer, and will ask for it in writing that the cheques are literally just the cheques, no other changes. Was just wondering if anyone knew the stance regarding cashing cheques."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
