I think this is a bit premature, especially as you have another 3 or 4 claims to go......but its always great to get the first one right(which i might not have done....see above)

Agree, very premature, but they have done everything they said they would do and in pretty good time. My first time with e2save and I have been very impressed at how helpful they have been, first class.
There has been a lot of bad press with mobile companies of late, a lot justifiably so, but when a company excels they deserve the applause, and for me e2save have excelled.

Best of luck with your claim, a little tricky. Hopefully all will go well and it will be back on track, fingers crossed.

  • I have had quite a number of phones on Cashback from e2save, more or less since they introduced the cashback incentive a number of years back. I have two which are due their final claim soon.
I have always got my money in the past - but ONLY by following their conditions very carefully and sending all claims by RM Special Delivery.

It seems to me that most of the problems have arisen with the new 'Price Match' deals, which have somewhat more onerous conditions than the regular cashbacks.

I've had tons of contracts with them and would have agreed until the last 6 months. I even had two more from them - the last one arrived around the same time as my first LBA to them.

bassman you're bill and dates are fine for the claims themselves, though they don't leave you much time for my suggested plan. You now have to decide whether to contact them or to keep quiet. The way they now operate that is a tricky decision I'm afraid. If you do communicate with them make sure you make a careful record of it. The name of the game now with them is to cover yourself and assume you'll need to have done that - as many have recently been finding out. Interestingly I'm having problems with one much older contract and haven't encountered any problems with the others - including my price-match ones. Although the latest information they give out is totally misleading, in parts entirely incorrect, conflicting and confusing. I can well see the reasons for people sending in a month too soon etc in addition to the more expected problems I had been warning about for some time.

Despite all the fretting i've been doing this last month (and panicking when i've read certain interpretations of the T&C's) a cheque turned up this morning. Didn't find the price match conditions overly confusing but will reserve judgement until i've got the rest! So those that have signed up don't worry to much if you've followed the T&C's.

After being so careful to do everything right re the correct bill.........I have just realised that on the claim form, i have given my "unique order reference number" instead of the stated, "transaction number"

I sent this special delivery yesterday, so they should be receiving it before 1pm today.

Am i now doomed to fail....or has anyone else sent this number and got away with it.

And is it actually part of the "vitals"...ie is the deal finished because ive sent the wrong number, if ive got the rest of it correct.

Although not a real excuse....when they printed my invoice, there was very little ink in their printer...ive had to use a magnifying glass to read it...hence i didnt see anything labelled "transaction number"

Out of interest, what date did you make your purchase, what is your billing date, and which bill did you send ?? (and when did you send it) ;)

    Thanks in advance.

I've recently started another cashback deal, this time with e2save (connected on 5th Dec).

However, the information in the welcome pack is very misleading as to which bill to send in....
I've had a search through the forums, and I can't find anywhere else mentioning the "Your Offer Explained" dates!

The "Welcome to your new phone" booklet states "The timescales in which you can claim are detailed on the 'Your Offer Explained' Sheet"

This sheet states (printed as a receipt):-
"Customers should send in the airtime bills below
    Claim 1 : 3 Airtime Bill ( 84.00)
    Claim 2 : 5 Airtime Bill ( 84.00)
    Claim 3 : 7 Airtime Bill ( 84.00)
    Claim 4 : 9 Airtime Bill ( 84.00)
    Claim 5 : 11 Airtime Bill ( 84.00)"

This indicates to send in bill 3 (dated 6th Feb 2008)!!!!

However, there is also a pre-printed T&C sheets, which states to send in the bill that shows you being connected for 120 days, etc, which would be bill 5 (dated 6th April).

This also ties in with the dates on the login area (1st claim to be sent between 3rd April to 3rd May 2008)

    Connected: 5th Dec 2007
    Bill 1: 6th Dec 2007
    Bill 2: 6th Jan 2008
    Bill 3: 6th Feb 2008
    Bill 4: 6th March 2008
    Bill 5: 6th April 2008

I am presuming I have to send in the 6th April bill, but I'm a little concerned about the dates on the "Offer Explained"
sheet. Is this just a red-herring?

I'm therefore confused as to whether to send in bill 3 or bill 5!!

I've had cashbacks for the last 6-7 years, and the only problem I've had was receiving my last cheque when CNM went into administration. The T&C for the 120 days (etc) with e2save, appear very similar to CNM's T&Cs.
There's never been anything as blindingly misleading as this!!

Also, has anyone had problems getting the cashback after cancelling the itemised billing? I've always cancelled this in the past, but the T&Cs state "we recommend that you do not cancel or take a summary itemised bill from the network"

I've just spoken to e2save regarding the bills to send in, mentioned on the "Your Offer Explained" sheet, and I was told it's a printing error!! (it mentions bill 3, 5, etc)

    Has anyone else had this?

They have confirmed that I should send in bills after 120 days, etc!!
Let's see what happens, I can see them rejecting the claim in April, saying I should have sent in the February Bill!

What number did you call them on? Their website seems to be a maze of non-information
