Should I stick to my original, PO Box 337?
That's the address for "pricematch deals".
Cashback Claims,
PO BOX 337,
Crewe.
CW2 8WE
Best of luck.

It depends on WHICH company you got it from actually! If you got it from E2Save it's actually the Box 462 address. Sounds like Lurker got his from Onestopphoneshop so the 337 address is correct (if he did).
Lurker, I wouldn't put a covering letter in and if you do I wouldn't the "instructions" or the 120 days. just make sure the bill is no older than 28 days when it gets to them and that it doesn't get to them before the 4th calendar anniversary of your order and within 30 days of that date.0 -
Vodafone was Urbans example, if it's not available then it's not an option.
All the advice from e2save regarding o2 bills has been because of the first "part bill". No bills will be received from them at around 4 months from connection. When they clarified things it made sense why either of the 2 bills can be sent, though confusing at first. I agree we aren't counting bills but going on actual dates. On the first claim they are asking for the bill which shows you have been connected for 4 months, only my early bill shows this, no other possibly can.
Only time will tell, it will go smoothly or all hell will break out.
Lynsey
O2's bill date is one day after the connection anniversary.
If you connect on May 14th, your bills will be May 15, June 15, July 15, Aug 15. It is very very clear which bill to submit. Anything else is just asking for a rejection.
Good luck relying on advice you were told on the phone. Interesting to see how you'll prove that in court.
This game is quite basic. T&Cs, T&Cs, T&Cs. Everything else is just there to distract and confuse you.

You are so WRONG regarding the o2 billing dates with e2save. They are not operating this way, unless YOURS is different. This is why I have been going on about "part months"
My connection date was 12/07 (12th July 2007) and my billing date was 21/07 (21st July 2007). my next two billing dates were both on the 21st of the month (21st August 2007 and the 21st September 2007) and my next one will be dated 21st October 2007. This October bill cover the period from 23rd October 2007 to 22nd November 2007. This bill covers days 104 to 134 and also the 4 month anniversary (12th November 2007).
So then, as e2save are asking for the bill for the first claim to show you have been connected for 4 months, which bill of mine should I send in and WHY??
The bit I disagree with a bit is e2save say they can't receive this bill until on/after 12th November 2007. I can't really see why, but they insist it has to be 4 months or it would be an early claim, which seems to have happened of late. This is not included in the T&C's as far as I can see, so I can only assume they are operating it to suit themselves. I am happy to go along with this if it makes life/claiming easier.
My advice for what it's worth is to contact e2save and clarify each individual claim.
Yet again, best of luck to ALL.

I submitted 3 standard cashback claims to e2save earlier this month. All sent to Dunstable address, by Special Delivery. All showing as having been signed for. The last claim sent prompted a text confirming receipt and a further text yesterday confirming the claim has been processed.
There have been no texts regarding the other 2 claims. Last week, I was actually able to get through to e2save and was told that because the claims were being sent on to Crewe there would be a delay in processing. This cannot be the case, as the last claim sent in on 17 September to Dunstable has been processed.
I have tried to get through to the cashback team for the last 2 days and it has been constantly engaged. One of the claims is actually the last one and everything has been ok so far. The other is a first one, and although I know I have done everything correctly, I really don't want to find out too late that there is a problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
As to my pricematch deal, I purchased the phone on 3 September, and was ported to 02 on 12 September. I have yet to receive the first 02 bill, which should be arriving any day now, I would have thought. However, I believe my claim showing connection for 120 days has to be submitted between 1 January and 31 January (I think I have this correct). Am I going to have enough time to do this?0 -
As I have said earlier, contacting E2S will do no good - it is not their job to help you. And unless you understand how the system works, you will lose all your cashbacks. E2S WANT claims to be rejected. It's the only way this system is sustainable. If they were in the job of helping people make successful claims, they'd make a loss.
Anyway, that has been said many times before. And so has the next advice. Your only friend is the T&Cs. So...let's analyse them again. They'renot difficult to understand:
It says the first claim must be the one: "that arrives showing you have been connected for 4 months. i.e. if you were purchased on the 1st of January, you need to send in the bill that is dated around the 1st of May".
Your problem Lynsey is that your bill date is 9 days after the connection anniversary (my o2 contract, and those of everyone I know are dated 1 day after connection).
So your bill date will not be 1 May, it will be 9 May. No, you can't send in 9 April - as I and Mobile Junkie have said again and again. If you want to believe E2S, then that's your loss. We know what we're doing.
Why can't you send in 9 April - well look at the word 'around' in the T&Cs quoted above. What will a court say is around 1 May: 9 May or 9 April.
Ok, but that's not the end of it.
There are quite clearly TWO conditions in that one clause quoted above. The T&Cs require you to "showing you have been connected for 4 months".
The 9 April bill doesn't show that. The 9 May bill DOES.
You then have 30 days "from the date stated on the relevant airtime bill". The clock starts ticking on 9 May (and ends on 8 June, not that anyone should risk it by getting it in that late).0 -
Your problem Lynsey is that your bill date is 9 days after the connection anniversary (my o2 contract, and those of everyone I know are dated 1 day after connection).
Are you saying that you have an o2 "pricematch/clearance" deal with e2save and your billing is as described by yourself?????
Everyone that has pm'd me of late has had a "part month" included in their first bill, which is what is causing the confusion.
My bills to send in will not me April/May, but either the October bill or the November bill.
As stated the Oct. bill shows the dates that I have been connected for 4 months, the Nov. bill doesn't, but is the bill AFTER I have been connected for 4 months.
So if your dates are as they state and your on a "pricematch" deal, you are very lucky and it is simple to work out which bill to send, others aren't that fortunate.

I'm afraid you still don't get it! "part billing" has absolutely ZILCH to do with the price of bread! I don't anticipate any problems with any of my/our price-match deals. Actually, it should be plain sailing! cpw are finding how easy it is to make people see the trees and not the wood. Steal someone else's t&c for no good reason other than to reduce the number of successful claimants, then ignore them and use your own orgininal ones from a sister company (with only one adjustment), mislead the first batch of claimants by putting the wrong dates on their accounts (and later making the right dates very unclear), stand back and watch (at a distance of course - not likely to stick their privates on here to be snipped!). Sound nice on the phone to those lucky enough to get through after hanging on for hours at a premium rate, give them diffferent information to elsewhere and make sure they don't put THAT in writing. Nice people though, aren't they!? They are "only trying to help"! Lol! Haven't seen so many people lately saying how they always had no problems in the past with cashbacks from this company...0

OK, if I have got it wrong I will stop posting on here from today so as not to confuse issues. I will report back after my claim has either been successful or has been rejected due to an early claim.
Can you post your actual contact start date and your first bill date and can others??
In the meantime I will read the comments.

What's the first bill date got to do with anything? Boy, you're really confused. Look; did the first BILL date have anything to do with it under Mobile Affiliates t&c which you know very well? Since these are the SAME, so is the answer!0
