see your thread... is the information for pricematch deals?

i didnt take up a pricematch deal and your thread has totally confused my mind which was completely assured prior to this as i'd recieved the same confirmation from each person at e2save saying "SEND IN YOUR OCTOBER BILL"

One section specifically is - got fed up with re-writing it on many differnet threads several times per day

If you're happy with what you've been told, ignore me.

If people don't know whether they're on a price-match deal or not then they really ARE asking for trouble. If you aren't on one they are currenlty changing the goal-posts from the previous rules.
  • same happened to me with an August Claim. sent TWO claims at the same time for myself and partner. Posted at the local PO and sent recorded , signed for
    Received two texts
My cheque never arrived but my partners did (10 days after posting)
Called today, waited 15 minutes + to be told that there had no record of a singature (they use the Royal mails' website)
Told to take my text messages to CPW and show them, as proof
When I told him that I had deleted them He agreed to give me until
October 10th to get my claim in which he then extended until the 16th because of the strike!
Better than trying to claim compensation from RM and MAYBE I will get my cheque for £62 this time around!!!!
Be careful and chase it up early so you dont run out of time and have tthe same hasstle as me!

  • Jobee 25:- To cover both the legal and the t&c they say they are adopting you will need to make sure you get the November bill to them by 3rd December. If it gets to them after that but before 12th December and they refuse all claims saying it's late you should have no problem suing for ALL the cashback.

I've been stupid enough to take out 2 pricematch deals and am hopefully getting to grips with claiming
ie connect date 14/8, bill date 21/8, 1st claim due 21/12 before 13/01. Please, please tell me I've understood this correctly....
Mobilejunkie I've read your different comments and I know you're really busy but what is the difference between 'legal' and 't&c'?

That's about the size of it in your case. You would then meet both sets of t&c. If you read the written t&c you have longer to claim. Not so under the ones they are imposing - unless you send the November bill to arrive after 13th December but before it's 28 days old. Of course, if they move the goalposts as you send it you'd then be making an early claim under the legal t&c. Legal = you can enforce those because you (SHOULD) have them in writing from the date you took out the contract; LEGAL because they form the contract with the company which you both agreed to at the time,

Hi... Now I am totally confused. Look at the following dates:

    Order Date 21-jun
    Del Date : 23-Jun
    Conn Date : 26-Jun
    1st Bill date : 03-July !!!

Now which bill I send which shows I have been connected for 120 days. Wouldd it be 03-Oct bill after 21-Oct/26-Oct, or will it be 03-Nov bill. I am on new price match t&cs.

You help will be much appreciated.

Very simple - send the 3 Nov bill. That is the bill dated around 120 days after connection.

Your dates are correct for the claims. Your last bill should be ok but I'd get the first few sorted before worrying too much about that!

    THANKS FOR THAT!

This is what I had done originally when I recieved the phone, had envelopes printed vouchers done etc.... all set

but rescently they changed terms and dates and generally has done my head in! I just finished a free contract with them and got all cashbacks no problem but looked AFTER I had finished claiming and they had changed the terms and dates on this even though I had finished with phone and got all cash back!!!

I presume that orange will send me a 13th bill if I make one chargeable call in the last month. I'll ring them anyway.

    Thanks
    again

    Gary
