I have just sent in my first claim. I sent it to the address on the back of the voucher just to stick exactly to what their directions said, the address being po box 4311, Dunstable, LU6 9BJ.
The bill was posted to them on the 15th and was received the next day, verified on the Royal Mail website as delivered from the Dunstable sorting office.
This morning, I received a text from Cashback saying the following - "Your bill has been received for your cashback. Cheques for successful claims will be with you within 30 days and a letter is sent if your claim is unsuccessful"
A little bit sneaky seeing as by the time they notify you either way, you are scuppered or quids in. My only problem now is that previously the Royal Mail website said delivered and gave me the details. Today when I look, it says that the address has a redirect in force and that the item may take a little longer.
Not sure how this can be the case seeing as it was previously listed as delivered, but they have already acknowledged receipt, so I will just have to wait and see.
Hope this helps others, and wondering if anyone else has had this text message? I thought that previously they texted to say that you had either been successful or not.
G
Incidentally, my deal is send in the 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th bills for cash each bill with May being my month of purchase.
Also, the telephone service for Royal Mail says delivered to Dunstable yesterday before 10:39 am, so that address seems to be valid.

It should work well in theory but their website seems to be not so updated. As here says to make 4 claims while my contract says to make 5 claims. In fact when my contract says to make 5 claims, the claim form attached to it says to make 4 claims.
Maybe just another attempt to cause confusion, bloody e2save!Vodafone sucks. :mad:0 -
I'm afraid people need to understand EXACTLY what they're signing up to at the time. Would take forever to sort out every individual case now. e.g. date you took it out, what deal you are on, where precisely you got it from, billing dates etc. There are limits as to how much other people can do for you if you've got the fundamentals wrong or confused. I hope some of the information I have written on a generic basis re. cpw might help most (or at least some):-

Just been on the phone with the e2save cashback department, had to wait for more than 15 minutes, but it is worth it! :j The lady on the phone was very helpful, it is far more complicated than I expected. Hope the information below helps you to get your every cashback.
Your first bill may charge you from the connection date, but e2save uses their delivery date as their benchmark. This would not be a problem if you did not port your number, but it will be if your connection date has been postponed for porting reason like I did.
Then your claim windows open for 30-day after 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 months, all you need to do is 'to send in your latest bill that is less than 28 days old' during that 30-day open period to claim. Her precise words!
My example:
Delivery date: 6Jul07
Connection date: 16Jul07
Monthly bill date: 28th
Month4 30-day claim period opens between: 6Nov-5Dec07
Month6 30-day claim period opens between: 6Jan-5Feb08
Month8 30-day claim period opens between: 6Mar-5Apr08
Month10 30-day claim period opens between: 6May-5Jun08
Month12 30-day claim period opens between: 6Jul-5Aug08
So for my first claim on month 4, I could send in either the bill dated 28th of Oct or 28th of Nov to claim, with 2 options below:
Bill dated 28th of Oct, open to claim between 6Nov-24Nov07;
Bill dated 28th of Nov, open to claim between 28Nov-5Dec07.
Now the choice is entirely yours, good luck to you all!Vodafone sucks. :mad:0 -
Don't touch E2save! Last year they were honouring claims but have a look through this forum for dozens on unhappy customers this year.
They change the terms of the offer after taking out the deal and you have to go to court to get your money back. The help line is premium rate and the staff (after waiting for about an hour) are very rude.

hi last year I bought an LG chocolate for my son, he was able to get a good deal with minutes and texts which he wouldn't have been able to afford on PAYG. So far I have sent back 3 vouchers and received cheques back for all of them....hope this last one works out.:D0

It should do. However, I wouldn't rush into one of the current deals until you've done a LOT of reading and research at the very least! They are quite different to the one you have and the t&c are not what they seem at all!0

I had posted some posts (including page 7 and 8) on this thread.

I took the liberty to make copies of what they had said on my "your Account" on e2save website.
Offer Breakdown You Get
Automatic Cashback £70 in Dec 2006
Send bill dated Feb 2007 £83.04 in Apr 2007
Send bill dated Jun 2007 £83.04 in Aug 2007
Send bill dated Oct 2007 £83.04 in Dec 2007
I had tried to clarify this with their customer services through their Live Chat section. I then received this message:
Dear *****
Further to recent communication you made to the Live Chat section of the e2save.com website I would like to confirm that you are on the following cashback offer:
Handset: Clearance Samsung D600 Chrome
Tariff: Canary £30
Mobile Number: 0*********
Free gift: 11 months £0.99 line rental
A direct credit of £70.00 will be sent out to you within 2 months of your
order being processed. I can confirm that your order was processed dated 13th October 2006. Your direct credit of £70.00 was raised for you dated 29th November 2006 via cheque.
In order to claim the remainder of your cashback you are required to send a copy of your 4th (January 2007), 8th (May 2007) and 12th (September 2007) month bills within 30 days of the airtime bill. You will then be credited with £83.03 each time.
I can confirm that your first stage cashback was raised for you dated 29th January 2007 in the amount of £83.03. A cheque was issued to you.
For further assistance regarding your cashback I must direct you to call the e2save.com cashback team on 08456 551 246 or visit www.e2save.com/cashback.

I had mentioned the deliberate ploys by E2Save not to pay the cash backs.
So far I had received my cash backs (albeit after my mails to their Head Office).
Now, when I had sent my last cash back in September I received a text
"Your bill has been received for your cash back. Cheques for successful claims will be with you within 30 days and a letter is sent if your claim is unsuccessful".
Then I received a letter dated 3rd October by 2nd class mail and received on 18th October. The letter did not have any documents sent.
Again you can see that there is a conspiracy to make sure by delaying posting so that you miss the deadline for cash back.
The letter mentions that my claim sent in September 2007 was too early.
Furthermore they say:
“We are returning the documents for safe keeping and you will need to return them during the correct interval to claim your “Cashback” offer.
I sent them this reply:
Ref no: ********
Mobile No: ********
I've received a letter today from you dated 3rd October 2007.
It says my claim was early and you are sending me my personal documents back.
There were NO documents with the letter.
I was told to send my september 2007 bill to you, which I did.
The reason for the confusion of the dates are:
I had placed my order on 12th October 2006 @ 23.53 hours.
You had sent me a faulty phone which I sent back to you.
You sent me a replacement phone in November 2006.
I'm sending a copy of this mail to your Head Office.
I also sent a copy e-mail to: cdunstone@cpw.co.uk
You can see their tactics of not mentioning the date when to send the claim.
Now they have taken out the info from my "your account".
If I had sent my cash back as per their web-site in October c/s would have said the claim was too late.
When I send as per c/s in September then it is too early and the claim is refused.
So either way they've got you by the ba**s.
I therefore urge you all to be very wary of this company.0 -
Sounds like a complete mess! I suspect the dates you copied (Feb/June/Oct) were recent ones and NOT the ones on your account originally, which you should have taken copies of? They are attempting to move the goal-posts. If you have the original dates that appeared on your account and the leaflet setting out which months to claim (yours would have been 4, 6 and 8) it should be sufficient to sue. I presume they paid your January and May claims according to the original procedure? If so to these points I don't see why you can't sue. I'm prepared to on one of mine now they're trying to make me claim a month later. However, you seemed to have connected in mid-October so I'd have THOUGHT you'd have had a bill in that month? That also seems to make a difference to the way they're "interpreting" things now. If you search closely you may find they've also ADDED some written t&c on your account in the last couple of weeks that were NEVER there before!
There's a more complicated background to this, but in essence they can't vary the t&c you had originally and which (up until now) they were following (assuming they were?!).0 -
I agree with the advice posted here:run away from E2Save. In July 2006 I took a mobile phone contract with them. For some reason they sent me one phone, but set up two contracts!I tried for about two months (about two hours a day) to get in touch with them on the phone but could never get through on the customer helpline. I emailed them twice and wrote once, no reply. I finally ran out of patience and abandoned it, taking up the problem with the mobile provider, Orange. Believe it or not, I had the same problem! Staff on the phone kept telling me to go back to E2Save even after explaining for 15 mins about all the things I tried to contact this company. Finally I threatened to sue them. They didn't reply. I sued them and I won so I called their offices and asked if they were going to refund me and pay compensation as per the court order. Their answer was no. So I sent the bailiffs in. Funny thing I had a cheque after two weeks. I love the bailiffs.0
