  • Then it depends on 1) the connection date (subject to slight variations from day to day in their own way of doing things), 2) the date of the bill and 3) the date they receive it! Of course, that IS assuming that you sent the original paper bill!

I sent the original papers bill -

    connection was 15/06/2007
    first bill June 19th
month 4 bill October 19th bill

120 days was 13/10/2007 so Oct 19th bill is correct, plus that’s what they have on the e2save account page now and on 16/10/2007 when I took the screen shot.

Then it should get there by 15th November and be fine.
  • I received a letter from e2Save in January apologising for the contradictory claim information stating that as my handset was purchased in November 2006 and this counted as my 1st billable month, I should submit my April, June, August and October Virgin bills. Additionally a Paula Fletcher from e2Save eMailed me twice in January to also confirm that I should submit my April, June, August and October 2007 invoices. I've also got a screen print of my 'offer' confirming my claim dates as being April, June, August and October together with my personal calendar.

Although April, June and August were processed without problem, last Friday I received a "claim submitted too early" rejection letter for my final October claim!

I've emailed and posted a letter of complaint to e2Save but not sure what effect this will have on them
  • Send a Letter Before Action and then sue. That's what I will do if they reject my claim - it's similar to your situation and many others are now cropping up. People need to consider taking a stand against them or they will carrying on making new rules up as they go along. You have everything in writing several times over - AND they paid correctly up until now. This is their problem - don't make it yours!
  • Thanks for that.

I presume that after a 14 day letter before action notice, I then sue for breach of contract via the MoneyClaim Website.

Does anyone have a claim wording template?

    Thanks in anticipation
  • I don't, but it can't be too difficult! See if they respond first; they'd be completely stupid if they don't (though I'm beginning to think they ARE!).
  • Well, I sent off my claim.
It was my bill received in October as my delivery date was May and I have received back a copy of my photocopied bill saying I was too early with my claim and to send in the correct bill when it arrives.

Little confused by this as the bill I received in October is the correct bill, not the one I receive in November.
I am not overly worried though as it does not say that my claim is now invalid, so I will send in my next bill and try again.

"I have spoken to the cashback team and they have advised that any connections made before August 2007, will still need to claim with the bill counted from the month of purchase. If you have received contradictory information regarding this, then please contact our Cashback team who will rectify this for you".
  • Wouldn't it be good if they bothered to acknowledge that on here - especially since they copied my whole post, renamed it and put it on their own forum for the gullible?
