Interesting; that's very different to what they told me! According to them the 120 days is irrelevant. Basically, they are following the old Onestopphoneshop t&c plus one claim. In any case, all my deals will be covered in full!0
-
I will go along with what they stated via phone and has been added to my file (or so they say). I agree about the 120 days, I actually stick to dates and as long as the bill shows connection for 4 months that should be ok. Requiring the bill only on/after the full 4 month period is not included within their T&C's (as far as I can see), but I can understand that if I send my bill back before that then it's not fully 4 months (confusing). I think that the reason of "part bills" plays a large part of this confusion, and it's not surprising that they go this route.

Not sure the "part bills" has any relevance. you have to understand the way they USED to work at Onestop - with one definite and another apparent variation (NOT E2Save). Sorry but it's extremely complex! However, ANYONE getting it wrong BUT following the legal t&c they signed up for can claim ALL the cashback through ther courts in one go should they wish!0

What I mean by "part bills" is if they just sent a monthly bill then it would be simple to just send the 5th bill (connection after 4 months). I personally think "part bills" confuse the issue, but maybe it's just me they confuse, being a bit dizzy. I can see a lot of claims going the legal route, there seems to no one definate answer. Lets hope someone from e2save can come back on here and clarify things. Their actual forum is full of confusion, which is not surprising.

Forget the "th" bill; ancient history and always WAS a red herring with them (see Virgin 6 month free thread). Forget E2Save reps; should they put their heads above the parapet on here (which I doubt) it won't help you when you rely on what they say IF they mislead you. I have been expecting this for quite some time. The game plan is clearly to deny ALL claims as early as possible through confusion and deception. The fall-back position is the legal t&c people actually signed up to. Suing would be very easy but they know most people won't. They don't care one jot about the misery they are causing - I have already had people telling me about how distressed they are at being declined and THAT is just a taster. I am still quite happy to get these deals for myself and my friends - and I would never order for them if I wasn't sure and explained the game to them so they understand (though they basically can't follow it and do end up relying on me). There is no way I intend to lose out on a single payment because of what they're doing and I have structured everything accordingly. This is NOT a straightforward sort of deal and is designed to stop people legitimately claiming. I have been warning people for about a month now; it is difficult to explain it all and in any case each situation will be unique. Too many people have rushed into these deals based on previous experience with the company and the face value of what they have read in the t&c. The deals themselves were dishonest 4 months ago when they first appeared and the resultant treatment of customers has progressively got worse - so far. As far as I'm concerned, however, they are still the only "safe" game in town for two very good reasons (1) they aren't likely to go bust 2) I know what I'm doing). No other dealer is any better now and most are worst. If uncertain and VERY knowledgable, steer clear of ALL cashback deals from ANY source. DON'T be blinded by the deals and promises etc.0

balusri, if your Sept. bill includes the payment for the 21st Sept. (ie 4 months from connection) that is the bill to send. It must NOT be more than 28 days old and you can't send it to them until 21/09 which is now ok for yourself.
That's how I've been told over the phone and that's how I will be claiming in a few weeks time.
Please post the period of your Sept bill, ie the start date and the end date.

HI Lynsay, thanks for the reply. My Sep bill is for 4th sep to 3rd Oct. So this bill covers the 120 days period mentioned inthe T&C. Can I send this bill for the cashback now?0 -

well no i haven't used them in a year or so but my gf has over the last year and not had any problems.0 -
So have many others - and as I keep pointing out and warning, complacency doesn't change the fact that things have changed!! You have been quite lucky, in fact; E2Save counted months and not bills, whilst Onestopphonestop counted dates not bills. Of course, much of the time it would make no difference - but some of the time, it did! NOW things aren't like that anyway. FIRST CLAIMS under the stolen t&c are being made now. Wait and see what happens (though today's two rejections on here indicate it may be even worse than I thought!). "Last year" is a century ago nowadays. Things change almost daily - and have been for at least 3 monhts or more (and NOT for the better!).
I once made a mistake on my first deal through Onestop and sent an early bill in. If anyone does that now, it seems - and their dates on peoples' individual accounts actually TELL them to!! - they would be informed that ALL their claims are now void! That is, however, just a taster; many people will be told something similar when they haven't sent an early claim in. Further, that was something I DIDN'T anticpate - the thing I was expecting will occur pretty soon now.
Maybe I should stop giving warnings; I have given enough now and events will soon take over!0 -

I would personally send in the Sept. bill. The reason for this is this is the bill which shows you have been connected for the full 120 days/ 4 months. No other bill can show this. You can't send in a bill around the 21st of any month because you don't get them then. I am only going on what I have been told by e2save. Your Oct. bill won't show this info. I have a deal with CNM (3 network) with similar T&C's, but all my months are FULL months so it is easy to work out. With this particular deal you have a part bill for your first month (o2 I presume) which confuses the issue. Please contact OSPS asap and get clarification and please post back what they say. There is lots of confusion over this on the e2save forum, but of late they have been advising to send in the bill showing the 4 month date from connection which your Sept bill does.
My advice only and others will differ, but they could argue your Oct. bill is too late. In theory any of the two bills should be adequate - one shows you have been connected for 4 months, the other is after you have been connected for 4 months, if you get my drift (phew).
Best of luck, these pricematch deals are confusing.
Edit to add: If you send off the Sept. bill also send a forwarding letter stating why you are sending this bill, ie: because it shows you have been connected for 4 months (21st Sept.).

Got my neurotic head on today, so checked up with e2save.
The answer they gave me which would apply to balusri's case is;
Yes they can send in the Sept. 4th bill, but as I said above they CAN'T receive it until on/after 21st Sept. The bill must NOT be more than 28 days old. They can also send in the Oct.4th bill in, but it MUST be received by them within 30 days of 21st Sept.
So it looks like we have options, but it makes sense to get in the earlier bill to get the cashback paid quicker.
My claim will be as follows;
Contract started 12/07
First bill dated 21/07 (42 days 12/07-22/08)
Second bill dated 21/08 (31 days 23/08-22/09)
Third bill dated 21/09 (30 days 23/09-22/10)
Forth bill dated 21/10 (31 days 23/10-22/11)
The forth bill covers the days from 104-134 which both includes the 120 day period and the 4 month period. This is the bill I will send on 12/11 so as they receive it on 13/11 - sent Special Delivery (next day guaranteed) service.
I also have the option of sending the Fifth bill dated 21/11 which must be received by them before 12/12.
So balusri if you haven't sent off your claim yet you have a choice, send off your 4th Sept bill immediately or certainly make sure they receive it before it is older than 28 days, or wait for your next (4th Oct.) bill.
Hope this has cleared things up, but probably not. Please reply to what you have actually done and best of luck.
