i'd recommend waiting until people start mentioning their success or failures with their first cashback claim under the pricematch terms.

The 6 month e2save Virgin (non pricematch) deal had a nasty sting and caught a lot of people, i'd hate to think about the pricematch deals.
    ummm...
  • Hiya any1 with e2save? Ive got a contract for 800 mins 500 txts apparently they will charge me for the whole 800 mins 500 txts if i go over them is this correct? Its an 11 month free contract so how can they do this. Please reply. XX
  • Sounds like absolute rubbish to me. They would and could only charge for the excess. "Apparently"?

E2 Save are a bit funny (in more ways than one!).

They work on the basis that you will get a bill immediately you receive the phone. In your case March is month 1 (yes, you didn't actually get a bill in March, but that doesn't matter for the purposes of cashback). By continuing the sequence your August bill is bill 6 and you should send this.

    Good luck :)

your sure its the BILL MONTH and not the bill number?

    I bought a line rental 25th May.
It says send in 6th Bill dated October 07.

However i've recieved September as 4th bill and therefore october will be fith bill. is it because they count the part month at the beginning as a "bill" on its own?

    Thanks

hi all , i'm just finishing my 2nd contract with e2save. all payments have been made, they even sent me 2 automatic cheques out, which was nice of them;) covers the extra few quid i may have spent outwith the free mins and texts.
i reckon i'll go for a third contract 12months free. it's all been fine for me a few phone calls sometimes but all very straightforward, i sent the vouchers, received a text to confirm, then a text to confirm the cheque being sent, then cheque into my bank!! happy days. you can even use their own site to clarify which month to send, thats what i did, should any probs arise you were following their instructions!!
but in saying that i know/ have read of some of the crap that some customers have had to put up with and we all make a bigger noise if we get a crap service over a good service.
i would recommend them though and use quidco extra £36.

if you are unsure about the dates log on the you acc on their site and check the cashback details .
  • People STILL don't get it! Ok, well; which bill has been answered correctly many times over so no point repeating it again for those you can't read back. And those who pop up and recommend E2Save because of how they used to operate haven't been reading the threads either!
  • I took the plunge on one of these last week after sticking with CPW and mobileshop b4 - box was marked new on the sealing sticker. And the phone inside had all the plastics protection stickers on screen etc. however big scratch on one of the panels and the memory card slot does not eject the memory pro duo.

I really like the functionality of the phone but am wary at what others have commented on at the service of exchange/cancellations. Do they do a swap /exchange or is it always have to send the phone back 1st to be examined before they send out replacement? I would cancel and reorder but they have stopped the 12 month free offer:mad:
