This is exchangeable from the network, you don't need to go to the dealer.

I had mine replaced by the network. Of course, they will want you to send the handset back to them and they will check it. If they find that the handset is really faulty, they will exchange a working handset with you.

    Good Luck
  • E2 save are terrible at cashback. I got 1payment only last year. I appealed the others and actually got to talk to a manager who admitted they had loads of very unhappy people and that she was leaving because she couldn't handle the abuse she got every day by email and phone
  • Is this too good to be true ? Anyone bought one of these or know anythin about these deals.Surely theres a catch as you dont get owt for nowt as they say

Unless you're seeing something different, it's not no monthly payments. You still have to pay the line rental and claim cashback to get it back. So they make money if you forget to claim the cashback on time, and also they make money if you go over the free usage allowance, use the phone abroad, etc.

Please can people search the threads before posting? Just e2save will bring up thousands of posts and you can find mobilejunkie's guide to these offers too...?

Sorry if I sound antagonistic - not the purpose of my message - just trying to discourage repetition (of which there is a LOT).
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)

  • I haven't got that deal but I have had a phone from e2save as has my girlfriend and in my experience the offers are genuine. We have always received our cashback payments.

    Things to remember:

You do have to pay up front then claim back.

You have to keep hold of all the vouchers and remember when to send them off with your bill.

Make sure you cancel the insurance and any other extras you dont want when ordering.

Dont go over your limit of texts and calls etc

If you do all that it should really be free. Their customer service is fine in my experience as well.
  • You obviously haven't gone through to them recently or yet claimed under their current t&c!

    Mobile Junkie,

I've found your posts incredibly interesting. Like you, I've taken out a few cashback deals over the years - although nowhere near as many as you! I have got all the money owed to date, mainly because I am thorough, and don't let them get away with anything.

Here's my question to you. Is your main problem with the E2S pricematch deals that they are deliberately pointing customers to two or three different sets of T&Cs?

The T&Cs provided by a tiny link on the final stage of the order process says discard the other T&Cs, this is what you do - send the bill issued 120 days after connection.

That seems fine to me, because most customers won't see that - they'll be merrily thinking they should send the 6th monthly bill (as stated all over the rest of their site, and in the documents they send with the phone).

Also, the 'hidden' T&Cs say they don't accept photocopied bills, and there seem to be stricter rules - if you mess up one claim, all future claims are invalidated.

These differences seem deliberate, and from what i understand by reading your posts, this is going to lead to many many claims being rejected. Am I right?

    Best wishes,

    S.
