Avoid at all cost is what I say. I've been had on the Virgin 6 month fiasco, and am currently battling over these clearance deals too... in essence I returned the two Nokia 6300s my wife and I bought within 7 days of receipt only to find them sent back a week later and money being taken out of our accounts by direct debit. Having to threaten to sue at the moment and cancelled DDs with banks with recall of the funds (luckily we caught them on the day they hit the accounts).

Takes forever to get through on the phone, can't transfer to other people, costs money in 0871 numbers, and clearance deals are very costly to deal with (one per envelope, no responsibility for lost in the post so need to use special delivery with consequential loss, etc.).
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)

Yes, they're part of the Carphone Warehouse, had no problems with cashback in my contract with them last year (currently with Mobileshop who aren't quite as good), my wife is currently with them no problems and my sister, mum and dad have all had cashback contracts from them with no probs.
  • hi,do a search on this company and see all the problems that lots of us are having now with this company.still waiting for my cashback,so at this moment i would not reccomend them, along with lots of other angry mse users.

i've got to say they are one of the best of the bunch sometimes cashback takes a while (last one took 40 days to arrive) but they do send them out, few others at my workplace are with them and had no probs.
Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!
  • Was at first impressed with e2save but the very poor and somewhat rude customer service and late payment has soured that impression!!!
I had taken out an 18mth Orange contract with e2save with an automatic cash back in June, with no bill required. This did not arrive until August, after two phone calls, the last one rather heated. They blamed the one day postal strikes for the delay??? The cheque was made out in August. Seem to think I will be having a real problem with the 'bill' cash backs in Oct/Nov, after having read some of the postings for this company.

Check if the phones are reconditioned.
  • hey, i know e2save have received mixed feelings, but i think it still offers some of the best deals, and seem to be around the longest... so iv been tempted to take up the N73 deal with 12months with O2, for £45 per month, 9months free... its on the ''Pricematch" deal - any views on this? as its a refurb phone? will the quality still be brand new'ish!!
    Thanks:T

  • I'd worry much more about the t&c than the phone if I were you - especially since they aren't the ones they are following.
  • oh dear.... iv been on other forums and they'v said if you stick to the conditions of the cashback you should be ok>>> hmmm sound iffy as i can do my part but can e2save comply with theirs...
