  • I saw a deal through E2save, linked from the site www.urmob.co.uk, that would give me 600 minutes and 500 texts. On the e2save site, the deal wasn't there, but the guy I spoke to told me it was still available. That was yesterday. I just got my phone, and my contract says it's 400 min + 250 texts!! I called them up to complain, and now they've told me to find a deal on their site I would accept, and they'll give it to me. My original deal should have been 11 months of 12 free, and now the only deals on the site are 18 month deals with 8 months free.
****Make sure you verify what you're getting on the phone, otherwise they'll just send you whatever. Make them say the deal.****
  • myself and cyrus just wanted to start a new thread to see exactly how many people were also told that they had claimed their cashback offer out of the claim period, and feel equally dissapointed with e2save?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Can you give details???
My first claim is a bit away yet, but alarm bells are ringing.
My contract started on 12/07, my first bill was dated 21/07 which was up to 23/08. I contacted e2save and was told to send in my Oct. bill (dated 21/10) which will be paid up until 23/11, but not until 12/11 and the bill must NOT be more than 28 days old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So by the time I receive my bill, I will have only around 1 week to get it all sorted - plenty of time as long as I'm not on holiday.
What advice were you given if any???

    Wrong!!

It's not necessarily reconditioned at all and has the full normal warranty! Nearly all of mine have been just like new too, althhough I would have slightly less confidence in that now the way they're going this year!
Rather stupidly (given the Virgin 6 month fiasco that's just started) my wife and I fancied some Nokia 6300s so got those on their O2 11month free deal; arrived today - whilte box says "new" but actually phones have some small scratches, one missing the USB cover, and missing earphones/cable/memory card (i.e. phone, manual, charger, CD is all you get)

They are very clearly not 'new' nor 'refurbished'/'reconditioned' either...

I have been looking at these. They are stated as being clearance phones. I have a clearance phone from CPW last yeat was an N73 (at the time only been out a few months) it was in mint condition - original box and all accessories. My mate got one a few months later through e2save and his was ion ok condition - couple of small scraches and no accessories (except charger). So you pay your money and take your chances... You can't really complain though seeing as your only paying about £3-£4 a month for your 12 months contract eh?!

"These items are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. For your peace of mind, each and every handset has been quality inspected by our engineers & reconditioned if necessary."

I understand your point jizadine and I have bought many refurbished/reconditioned/ex-demo/trial items before knowing what to expect.

In this case, they don't say on there that items may be incomplete... i.e. missing accessories, or even parts off the phone itself!!!

Compare this to the Lobster TV phones from Virgin a while back - they come absolutely as new.

I've recently attempted to post some negative feedback on the E2Save forum only to find out that there are restrictions on what will actually be posted.

Why can't I see my message that I have just posted in the topic?
