Update on my situation from above with my random cheque for £51, i decided to bank it & it cleared!
I have just rung them & they say that the final cheque has been raised yesterday & should be with me in 30 days.......i won't hold my breath!
I can't wait to see what amount it will be though!0 -

I sympathise with Soolin and Wolvesinwales.
I have been given THREE different cashback times for the bills, I took out two contracts at the same time and e2save decided it was okay to ask orange to combine the bills, and then ask for DIFFERENT cashback bills for EACH contract! How confusing can it get? To date I haven't had even ONE payment back. I have written in to complain, I have been on the phone no less then 5 hours last week speaking to three different people.
What should I do? Am I better placed giving them 14 days notice and then pursuing them through the Small Claims Court? I will never ever deal with the company again no matter how tempting their deals may sound. I have just got a replacement contract now from Three who are not doing the nonsense cashback stuff and so far have kept promises on what I would get with a new contract.
I would appreciate some advice on the following please:
- Who should I write to (address / name) in order to serve the 14 days notice?
- Where should I serve the small claims paperwork in the event I am forced to take this action?
I am just tired of having to chase e2save all the time. When I was told I had sent the wrong bill, I called and told them i had two phones from them at the same time, and the bill for the 2nd phone has been accepted. Their excuse was that because they processed the application for the 1st phone earlier it made the bill date different. I asked for the directors name and the operator REFUSED to tell me! Well thats all very nice for them, until Orange confirmed to me that CPW has called (e2save company) and asked them to combine both bills! An absolute sham of a company. I will be leaving talktalk aswell and make sure non of my friends and relatives deal with these people again in future.0 -
Another new one on me was where the advisor told me you can't send two claims in the SAME envelope! So which do they decide to process if that happens? I made sure I took the advisors name as I can't see anything in the T&C's about this 'cluase'!0

some folks may already know about this but once youve received your phone you can still log on to your account with e2save using the order ref no. and email address, from there it gives you a breakdown of the offer and which bills to send in.
hope this helps.
True, but mine lists completely different dates on it to the ones they are asking for and now they are refusing to pay.
Its probably worth taking this up with a claim through the small claims court, they have provided me with three different dates and then combined both my bills (I have 2 contracts with them) without my permission.0 -
I feel your pain!
It was only because I had an email from some bod at e2save saying they didn't know what cashback scheme I should follow, that made them decide to pay me off in full rather than by cashback. They weren't only confused about what scheme I should follow (I had the choice of 4) but their computer suggested I was on a Virgin contract when I'm actually on Orange.
At one point Orange called me to say that they were disconnecting me 5 weeks into my contract as I had requested my PAC code and they were un sure why I wanted it on a new contract where I was liable to still pay off the contract in full. It looks like e2save actually tried to get my PAC as I assured Orange it wasn't me..and they agreed.

I would definitely suggest going down the small claims route it seems to jolt them into action. Im my case they at first filed that they were going to defend it and their solicitors details were added but then with no warning or explanation my first £80 cash back arrived so i updated my claim saying that they had now admitted liability which they then refuted so i had to send proof that i had received the cheque !
Then, again without warning or explanation, i received a further cheque for £120 which i take as being my remaining £80 claim plus the £40 costs i had claimed.
Starting a claim online is pretty straight forward, just file it against E2Save and dont mention Carphonewarehouse because this complicates matters as 1 claim can only be against 1 company.
If anyone needs any help with the online procedure feel free to ask.
Like many others have said NEVER AGAIN !!!WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

Whatever you do people DO BOT give up. Thats exactly what they want. Be persistent and you will get your money.
Anyone who want to take Money Claim On Line action against any CPW Company including E2Save should state their head office - 1 Portal Way London - I am in public Library at the moment so dont have full details to hand.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0
