erm pardon? i live in sweden so i think its quite clear that im not the owner of that webpage. just thought it would be a good comment to the topic, (e2save) which is a similar service online. anyways, i think its a great page. try it and may-b after that tell me what you think :P

    looks pretty naff to me

    and it's only e2save - £13.25 Cashback .

.. which absolutely PALES in comparison with Quidco

finally the .US is only for US deals ... you have to hunt a bit harder for the UK site (which I am not going to publicise here)

I'll keep this brief as I am so cross I can barely see to type. After having major problems with e2save they paid me a cheque last Wednesday in full settlement of my cashback deal. Just checked my online banking and a week later they have stopped the cheque, it was reversed from my account yesterday evening nearly a week after being paid in . My bank say it shows as stopped, rather than bounced.

So cross as I am now overdrawn as well as out of pocket from e2save.

Thanks everybody for sharing your (largely awful) experiences and given the benefit of your past experiences I shall not be purchasing via E2save. I liked the suggestion of taking whatever free gadget they offer instead and flogging it immediately but will look elsewhere.

    Good luck!
  • A cheque for £80 turned up in the post today a standard cashback letter with no mention of the small claims action.

I now need to get my £30 small claims fee back...

Another cheque arrived today this time for £120. No mention of the court action at all so im guessing they are just paying the balance of the court costs and my remaining cash back claim.
So as it stands i have now received a total of £280 from them and presently in the 11 month of a £20 a month contract.
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?

Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?

I've been waiting for my cheque for 53 days. Phoned them today. First they say my chequeback claim not received, despite them sending a confirmation text to my phone on Jan 12. Then they say I must have sent to old address despite this being the address on all the documentation. Then I read them the postage reference from my special delivery. Then suddenly, "Here it is , we'll get a cheque raised with our banking section right away, and that should be with you within 28 days"...and pigs might fly!!, but we'll see, check back here in 28 days folks.

By the way if any of you have received cheques, please put here how long it took and how much hassle you had to go through to get it?
  • I ordered my phone in december as a christmas present for my mum, it was a 12 month free contract(it was apparently repaired phones, no bother to me, it still looked & worked as new)- too good to be true - yes!

I placed my order, everything went through fine, then the phone arrived, I check the tariff etc & they have sent me the wrong tarriff, so i ring up & they said they had run out of the reconditioned phones so they sent me a new one! how very kind i thought, so wheres my 12 month free contract? sorry the girl says, we can't do that any more (im thinking then flammin' well tell me before you send me out a phone!) but she goes and checks with her manager and says she can do me 11 months free-so i settle for that cos i figure £30(the monthly tariff) for a phone is still good! (Though i reckon the 12 month phones never existed in the first place! its just a scam to get ppl thru the door!)

So i was told that instead of £110 instant cashback i should expect £80, ok fair enough all makes sense, so it says it shud turn up & expect a text to say its on its way in january, january came & went, so i give them their 2 months period they said, still nothing! so i rings up on the 29th,to ask where is my cheque? the guy says your cheque for £51??????? i said no £80, oh hold on he says its showing up that its £110, so i says yes thats it £110, so then he goes away to check with his manager(again i think its a fictious person)then comes back & says ah yes theres a note on here saying its 11 months free, ok fair enuf i'll settle for what i thought i was getting, so then he ends the call with so your £91 will be raised within 30 days???? (£91 wheres that from?)

IM SO CONFUSED by all these figures!

AND TO ADD FUTHER CONFUSION I GET A CHEQUE THE VERY NEXT DAY FOR £51

DO I CASH IT AND RISK GETTING NO MORE?

DO I NOT CASH IT & RISK ENDING UP WITH NO FUTHER CASH?

    HAS IT ALREADY BEEN CANCELLED?

OR ARE THEY JUST GOING TO ADD TO IT?

OR CAN I GET MY OWN REVENGE ON THEM AND CASH IT & HOPE THAT I GET ONE FOR £80/£91 AND BE ABLE TO CASH THAT ONE TOO?

or do i ring up & ask them?

SO FAR SO POOR BY E2SAVE!

    WRONG PHONE
    WRONG TARIFF
    NO TEXT
    NO CHEQUE
    WRONG CHEQUE

I WONDER WHAT JOYS WILL AWAIT ME WHEN IT COMES TO THE CLAIMING PART OF MY BILLS!

    Hi
Just read your message, I am writing to urge you to leave comments on other review sites about E2save, as I too have had a really bad experience with them, I have left one on https://www.reviewcentre.com and https://www.ciao.co.uk I think its important to let others know just what an awful company they are to deal with, you might be able to get your money back and even compensation by writing to Charles Dunstone the CEO at Car phone Warehouse, I would send the letter via recorded delivery, hope you manage to get sorted out

Well, I'm fed up of beig mucked around and have started going through the system to serve legal papers on e2save for a replacement for my bounced cheque 3 weeks ago. With so many different addresses and such like, which would be considered their real address for legal purposes?

    Thanks

    just bumping this.

I eventually got a replacement payment for my bounced cheque and the replacement payment has now cleared. That means it took me almost 4 months and hundreds of calls and letters to get my money that I was owed.
I have one remaining family member on an e2save contract with only the final payment to claim. Once I've done that I'll never go near them again.
