I bought a contract from E2Save and the handset was faulty (N70 Nokia). I called CS and they said return the faulty handset back to them and adviced me that there wasn't any in stock for them to proceed with an exchange for me. I asked if they could offer me an alternative phone to which they said no. Now I am left with a new unopened sim and no phone. Please help and advice what I can do.

    Many thanks

I haven't opened / used the T-Mobile sim as yet. The seal it still on the Sim packet. Though it been over a month now.
  • After almost 2 weeks of dealing with this company I have to say that they are one, if not the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, I really wish I had not place an order with them. After ordering a phone from this company and being sent the wrong phone, I have been promised on three occasions that someone will ring me back, I have spent numerous hours on the phone, the customer services people are awful, I have been given different information. Because of the level of customer service I have received so far I have told them that I know longer want to deal with them and cancelled all the direct debits for Orange, insurance and a technical support line, if a simple matter of organising a replacement phone caused by their own mistake is too much trouble then good luck to anyone trying to claim cash back. This company are breaking the law, under the distance selling act it says “A trader can't send you different goods to the ones you ordered unless you were warned of that possibility before you placed your order. Even if you were told, you still have the right to cancel and to a full refund. The trader must pay the costs of returning the goods.” see link http://www.oft.gov.uk/Consumer/Your+Rights+When+Shopping+From+Home/shopping+from+home+wrong.htm#goods
Yet E2save won’t come to collect the goods they have sent that aren’t what I have ordered. Even Orange ( who have been absolutely brilliant) have contacted them on my behalf and they still refuse to collect the goods. I have contacted Trading Standards today and officially complained, I am hoping that there are others who have had similar dealings with this company who will also complain.

I recently bought a contract on T-Mobile Nokia N70 from e2save and the handset was faulty. I called CS and they said they there was no more stock at current and I should return the faulty handset back to them and wait until they get the stock. Its been over a month and they haven't had any stock on N70. Please advice on what I could do. I have an unopened sim card and no handset .

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thankx

Hi just to let you know I have, in desperation phoned car phone warehouse customer services and they were very sympathetic and went to speak to E2 save, I would give them a call, they found me on their system, the phone number I rang is (0)20 8896 5000. Good luck

I've sent them a recorded letter more than 2 weeks ago to ask for clarifications about the contradictions between the written contract and their website. I asked to receive written instructions to know exactly which statements to send but still no reply. At least in case of a small claim court action, I can prove that I tried to find out. Their website tool to calculate which statement to send is still wrong!

Well, I've just received 5 weeks later a reply by email from e2save confirming the bills I need to send! So, better than nothing, but at the same time, I see that they didn't reply with a proper letter and the e-mail claim:
"Any opinions expressed in this E-Mail are those of the author and do not necessarily constitute the views of the Company. Nothing in this E-Mail shall bind the Company in any contract or obligation."

So, no use in the case of a small claim court then?

Good for you. My contract has now ended with this company and I will never use them again. If your cashback is straightforward then you're fine, if there is ever a problem (mine was that they hadn't supplied my correct address to the service provider) you meet a brick wall.

I have never received a reply to my 2x complaints (sent recorded delivery) which is shameful. MY experience with CPW has, however been good, I simply don't understand why they continue to operate both E2Save and OSPS under the umbrella of CPW?
I do hope you're telling the truth?

A cheque for £80 turned up in the post today a standard cashback letter with no mention of the small claims action.

I now need to get my £30 small claims fee back...
