Can anyone confirm the correct address to send the cashback vouchers to. Would it be better to fax them the bill and voucher instead? if so, could i have the number please.
Thanks0 -
I have finally lost my patience with E 2 Save today after spending most of the afternon trying to get my claim resolved.
Ages spent on the useless automated phone service that simply takes you round in circles and clocks up revenue for them i finally pressed the option as if i was going to buy a phone and surprise surprise finally got to speak to someone, of course they couldnt help with my claim but gave me a dedicated number to ring for cash back problems, after being on hold for 8 minutes i finally got through only to be told their computers were down and could i phone back later !! ARGHH
I decided to e mail them and give them 7 days to respond but of course trying to find an e mail address for them is next to impossible, i finally sent it to sales@e2save.co.uk
If i do not receive my cheque within 7 days i am going to claim through the small claims court.
I am never ever ever ever ever ever going to deal with these bunch of incompetent bozos again.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?

I've sent them a recorded letter more than 2 weeks agao to ask for clarifications about the contradictions between the written contract and their website. I asked to receive written instructions to know exactly which statements to send but still no reply. At least in case of a small claim court action, I can prove that I tried to find out. Their website tool to calculate which statement to send is still wrong!0

I placed an on-line order for a phone with e2Save on 21st November, which was dispatched on 29th November and duly received on 30th November closely followed by my first Virgin bill dated 2nd December.
If I access my on-line Customer Login Area by entering my OrderID & Mobile number, my "Offer Breakdown states that I will get £21 Automatic Cashback in December 2006; Send bill dated Apr 2007 for £62.25 in Jun 2007; Send bill dated Jun 2007 for £62.25 in Aug 2007; Send bill dated Aug 2007 for £62.25 in Oct 2007 and Send bill dated Oct 2007 for £62.25 in Dec 2007.
However if I access the on-line "HelpDesk" section for ‘How do I claim my chequeback - I purchased my phone on or after 1st Nov '06’ it merely states "for a 12 month contract for Gift value over £100 we require your 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th monthly bills to arrive with us within 1 month of the date stated on the monthly bill (we accept photocopies)".
If I then click on "Which monthly bills will I need to send in?" and enter 11/2006 as the date I received the phone and submit it brings up:
For a 12 month contract for Gift value over £100 you should send the following airtime bills to us: May 2007, July 2007, September 2007 & November 2007 within one month of the bill date stated on the bill.
I'm totally confused!!!
Would it be worth me immediately submitting every Virgin bill I receive with effect from 2nd April onwards? . . . . . or is there something obvious I'm missing?
I've wrote to e2Save 2 weeks ago about the contradictory website information and requesting clarification but, as yet, no reply.0 -
There is a definite problems with deals taken out in the last quarter of 2006, I had the same problem with my cashback scheme being different depending on where I looked. I had an email telling me one schedule, and the accompanying letter that came with the phone said another yet the wallet with cashback vouchers that was in the same envelope said something else. If I logged in to my account I got yet another scheme whilst the generic help on the web site said something different.
In my case they have admitted that their records are wrong as they show me on a Virgin 10 month free contract when I am actually on an Orange 11 month free so they have promised to send my cashback all in one go this month as they say this cannot be resolved any other way as whatever scheme I followed I would have had my cashback refused.
I'll let you know if I ever do get the cheque!
Incedntally I know that some users have tried to be helpful by saying that the cashback schemes are simple as long as you follow exactly what you are told, but in the case where you are told 4 completely different things it is difficult to see how on earth you can comply with them all, especially where your contract is wrong on the system. I have used e2save on as many as 8 occasions in the past and have never had problems, so I'm not exactly new to this, which is why I was so surprised that they seem to have got themselves in such a state now.

Looks like threats of small claims court will have to be made.
They are obviously misleading consumers by having conflicting information on the web site and the info they send with the phone.
I did email Dunstone several months ago about such conflicting information but no one has bothered to respond.0 -
I will definitely go down the Small Claims route if i hear nothing from them within a week, i have already filled all the forms out in anger after my wasted afternoon yesterday.
With a screen shot from their website telling me i have to send my Novemebr bill in and a letter from them telling me i had done wrong by sending the november bill looks pretty clear cut to me and hopefully the court would see it this way.
Its £30 to put a small clain in action and can be done online although the website does seem to have a few glitches.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

I believe e2save may be out to avoid paying cashback. I had my final cashback refused because they said it was the wong bill even though the bills are numbered and I sent the correct one. As I understand it, Carphone Warehouse are connected to the company, but have not yet bought it and the purchase price is dependent on their profit over a period of time. I guess no cashback means more profit. From the first moment of purchasing my contract I had nothing but major problems with the company, so beware!:( And forget their customer services; it's a joke.0

OMG - I'm just nearing my last cashback for both of the phones we have, up to now we've had no problems, I'm a little worried I won't get what we're owed.
I have however been searching the market to avoid these cashback contracts there so confusing, still searching, why can't they just drop the line rental, it must cost more over the year sending out & processing cheques, or do they do it hoping people will forget or miss the time limit and therefore earn the money - I wonder how much they earn on the interest from our payments - theres a thought - set up a company get everyone to pay various amounts in each month, then tell them they can claim half the line rental back after we've stashed the money away for 3 months earning interest,
Whine over !
PS If anyone has found a company that offers a decent deal without cliaming cash back can they let me know- - -cheers0 -

I don't think that is true:
1. Registered Office is the same as CPW
2. most Directors are also ex-CPW Directors
3. Website is copyright CPW Plc0
