With your phone contract/invoice would have been a breakdown chart of exactly which bill you would need to send in.
Mine was ordered in July - the paperwork sent said 4th bill is OCTOBER - sent it in and they paid immediately.

A phone ordered in June needed the September bill sending in - the paperwork is clear enough ! (and yes if you look you will have had a JUNE bill from Orange or whoever)

I've always used E2save without too much difficulty, except for one payment that I never received.

However, my new contract is a nightmare. I have an email explaining how to claim my cashback which seems clear enough. However, the invoice that came with the phone requires a completely different set of bills to be sent it, and the cheque back voucher booklet says something different. On the advice of a current user I logged into my e2save account and there is a different cashback timetable showing.

So I have 4 different ways to claim my cashback, it is impossible to do all of them unless I send every single bill in and get duplicate cashback vouchers. I have emailed of course and get no response and can't get through on the phone.

So my question is, which set of instructions are others using successfully? The ones on the email, or the ones with the phone or the ones you get when you log into your account?

well it seems pretty simple to me but i havent yet had to make a claim.

If it says send in you 6 month bill for example, you send in your ACTUAL 6th bill (forget abt the months) and so on..someone tell me if im wrong!?

Well it should be easy but as I say in my post I have 4 different methods quoted at me. The email I got when I ordered the phone says this:
A credit of £81.00 will be raised automatically by cheque within 2 months if you do not cancel your contract. You will receive a text message when this credit has been successfully raised. To gain the remainder of your line rental / cash back please send your 4th, 8th and 12th monthly bills within 30 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with £83.00 each time.

When i log in it says cashback is in months 6, 8, 10 and 12,(send bills received in those months)

The letter with the phone says bills 6th, 8th, 10th and 12 th and the cashback vouchers say the bills after month 6, 8 , 10 and 12 assuming month 1 to be the month I received the phone, which would require me to send the bill received in month 7 for the first claim.

So, I think I have a right to be confused.

I did manage to speak to someone today who told me that for phones bought since the 1st November I need to submit bill 6, 8 , 10 and 12, but he wouldn't give me his name so that I could quote that if I have problems when I come to claim.

so you send in the 3rd bill you get and this is the 4th one they ask for?

Also have they payed your cashbacks on time?

It appears to depend on when you actually get your first bill...if it's in the SAME month as when the phone was ordered, then you need to send your 4th bill.

If your first bill is in the month after connection, then you send in your 3rd bill. I rang up today as was informed I need to send in my bill dated Dec6th 2006.
eg: I ordered phone on 19Sep06:-
    Connected 26Sep06 - Month1
    FIRST BILL : 6Oct06 - Month2
    SECOND BILL : 6NOV06 - Month3
    THIRD BILL: 6DEC06 - Month4

My account section on e2save informs me to send in the bill DATED DEC06!
It's a good thing I checked, as I was going to send in my 4th bill as mentioned on the cashback leaflet which actually mentions 4th BILL, not 4th month!! I was going to send in the 6th Jan 2007 bill!!!

It all seems like a deliberate ploy on e2save to confuse everyone, asking for the 4th bill, when they mean the bill received in the 4 month of connection

I'll have to wait and see whether I get my first cashback! I did receive my automatic cashback cheque this week though! :j

Just received my first cashback cheque - I sent the claim special delivery rather than recorded as royal mail will reimburse you if the claim gets "lost". Costs 4.10, but after reading other's experiences thought it would be worth it.

Sorry to say this but you will not be reimbursed from Royal Mail if your claim gets lost, even though you have sent it special delivery. Unfortunately i have had a complete nightmare of a time with Royal Mail and e2save the last few months and have found out the hard way.

You will only be reimbursed by Royal Mail if you send by special delivery and add onto this consequential loss. It costs another 1.35 on top but worth it in the end.

Funny how i can send 5 lots of recorded delivery items though that all go missing and royal mail send me 5 books of stamps. Ive recently sent 3 lots of special delivery with consequential loss to e2save (was tempted to send all in same envelope but didnt) costing just over 16.00 and they all got there the next day. Anyway i had a letter from e2save yesterday saying im not getting one of my claims!! Havent dealt with it yet as im getting sick of it all.

I ordered 2 phones with cashback at the end of September, From the cashback leaflet I understood that it should be my December bill I sent in and that my initial cashback would be automatic. I havent received the automatic cashback, Has anyone any suggestions, phone numbers on what I should maybe do!!
    Many Thanks
  • it says your automatic cashback for a 12 month contract should come after 2 month, so you may still get it. Whats Dunstones email add?
  • Mine fell into the confusion zone over which bill to send in for claims but i went with the advice on here and sent in the 4th bill ( June ) and i received the 1st cashback cheque eventually.
Following on from that i sent in my 8th Bill ( October) but received a letter this week saying they have turned my claim down as i have sent in the wrong monthly bill !
If the June bill was the correct one then surely the October one must be ! Just tried to phone ( 5.50 pm) but got a recorded message saying they close at 7 pm !!
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?
    That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.
