    Well,

Everyone seems to be having trouble getting cashback from E2Save, yet I've just had a call from my wife saying that we've received a 2nd! cheque for our 2nd cashback claim.
I know this isn't rightfully ours per t&c's, so I think (assuming they both clear) I'll put it in a Savings a/c until CPW ask for it back or 'offset' it against the 3rd claim!

same here ... was still thinking what to do, but banked only 1 just today .. just had a text from e2save saying error... will are cancelling both cheques we sent out!!

    Hi all,

Mr EL jointed CPW/E2Save via Quidco a few months ago and we found that bill number 1 'was in fact number 0' according to E2Save agent. Therefore we patiently waited for bill #5, which would then 'in fact be number 4'.

Imagine our surprise to get no bill number 5, only bill 6!!!!

We called and they said we have missed the deadline (!) and now have to complain in writing etc.

Reading details on this post, we will be writing to:

    Redemptions
    P.O. Box 4311
    Dunstable
    LU6 9BJ

And we won't be using Recorded Delivery - Special Delivery instead.

Is there a fax and e-mail we can send the letter to also?

Many thanks for assistance - hopefully our first claim will get sorted.

    Hi All,

I know e2save are a bit of a nightmare but can anybody explain why when you send something special delivery it never gets delivered for about 2 weeks?

Do they deliberately refuse delivery? Royal mail have been trying to deliver mine for 9 days according to their tracking. This happened with my other phone and i didnt get paid in the end because it showed as delivered outside of the 30 days!

    Cheers

if its a cashback claim then its becuase it goes to a po box address.. usually they have to go and collect from the post office/depot and sign each of the recorded/special slips, which doesnt really happen (well not for the wednesbury address anyway).

However... lets "imagine" you had sent a phone to e2save and it was lost.. you could claim for the value of that. Having said that, if you had sent the claim via special without consequential loss then you get almost nothing.

With e2save you should call them and call them and get them to give you a fax/email address to send it.. quote your royal mail delivery slips etc. I had an issue with cpw and 2 months later and many calls later I got the cheque.
    ummm...

Jsut got 3 cheques for cash back about 20 days earlier than expected without ever chasing them. Great service. I sent my letter recorded delivery and it did track on teh Royal Mail website. Maybe I am lucky.
  • This is my first time on the board, so forget me if I am raising an already treated issue. I sent in the wrong bill for my cash back earlier this year, and got a reply saying the £56 was forfeited. I lost the last £56 because I was abroad when the bill came in. What remedies are there for me? Pls anyone with any advice?

My advice is forget about it cos you got no chance of seeing the £56, you haven't met the cashback terms & conditions....

I sent my 4th Month bill via special delivery on the 13th September.

I received a text on th 19th September confirming successful receipt of my cashbach application and asking me to allow 14 days for my cheque.

I then received another text on the 6th October stating exactly the same thing as the first.

It's now November, and still no cheque, although on the website for my account is does say send in September bill and receive the cashback in November?

How long does it normally take to receive the cheque after sending in the bill?
    Jim.
  • Hi There,

I sent my 8th bill by special delivery on 13th October. Got a text message back to confirm delivery about five days later. Recieved my cheque on 1st November.

    Hope this helps.

The same thing has happened to me. I got back from hols last night to find that e2save had paid 2 cashback claims twice. I don't know which cheques to bank, if any.
