  • I think they should have won a few gold medals at the paralympics for the sheer number of such "mistakes"... or are those only for the physically disabled?
  • The first of those (apparently) no longer works.

I wouldn't be surprised if they both get routed to junkmail@e2save.com.
  • Actually you're wrong about that. I never have any real problems extracting a response. It's merely the quality of the response which is usually a problem. Having said that I will give them a small pat on the back (yes, really!). Sometimes their response IS helpful. The trick is to know what, how and when to ask, where to send and whether the answer is true and helpful or rubbish - in which case it may well still be helpful in a different way should it EVER get to court!!
  • I'm surprised by that. I wouldn't have even bothered emailing or phoning. Are you more likely to get a (court-useable) reply by email than if you write a letter?

And are emails even presentable in court?
  • I never call them. I rarely use emails with them. It can be helpful in various ways at different times though - more than that is best left unsaid!

E-mails aren't automatically accepted in court - everyone needs to agree on their validity in a case (both sides and the judge).

But as far as e2save are concerned, all those of us who have obtained ccjs against them (and reported about them here) have done so by their default.

In every other reported case they have settled prior to a hearing taking place.

(And once a summons has been issued to them all relevant communications from them come marked "without prejudice" anyway.)

Does anyone know a real address for the cashback claims, not the PO Box at Crewe or Loughborough?

I'll give you chapter and verse of my situation, here goes!!!

I sent my wife's first claim to the Crewe PO Box for refund and a letter that they had not paid out the autocashback(due feb 2008!), sent on 05/08/08 for bill dated 24/7/08. Sent it recorded delivery, still showing as in processing in royal mail system. No reply from e2save.

Resent claim on 06/9/08 to Crewe PO Box, sent letter for missing autocashback in seperate envelope, also sent in my 3rd claim bill dated 17/8/08 (first two claims received with no issues), so was three seperate recorded delivery letters. Still showing as in processing in royal mail system.

No reply to refund claims for my or wife's phone, but did get a letter saying that they had not processed autocashback claim, and would do it immediately.

Rang to chase claims, they said not received any of the sent letters, they then couldn't explain how they had replied to a letter they claimed they have not received!! They then said we were outside claim time of 30 days, so claims invalid, they say we should use Loughborough PO Box, they would not give a real non PO Box address.

Went on to https://www.mycashbackclaim.co.uk and printed of claim period which shows 60 days, so still in time.

Resent my wife's first claim and my third claim to Loughborough PO Box, this time by royal mail special delivery next day, due to arrive today by noon, surprise suprise royal mail system showing as still processing in their system. e2save deny receiving it, but now admit that I have/had 60 days to submit so still in time, they say they will call back, I wont hold my breath.

So it seems Royal Mail are incompetent at not doing what they are paid for, getting tracking of mail, service that I have paid. They shouldn't accept mail that they can't track. Does anyone have a real address for the Loughborough e2save office, so I can try again?

Any advice on the above would be grateful, think court route against e2save is next step, as they have breached contract by not processing autocashback after one month, let alone process refund claims.

    Thanks

  • Read the thread(s). Only send claims to Loughborough if you are told to in writing. Follow the legal t&c you signed up to at the time and not what the account says - or them (unless it's in your favour and in writing). You are well past messing around. Follow the advice and send a LBA (and any other correspondence apart from actual claims) to the registered office in London (ON THE WEBSITE!!). You could also try using the email address recently posted on here, but the LBA needs to be by letter - and if you send one you need to be ready and able to start a legal claim when (or possibly but don't hold your breath!) it doesn't work. Otherwise sit back and prepare to be messed around forever!
  • I agree withmobilejunkie that you must send to the address on your claim vouchers. Interestingly my latest claims which were posted to Crewe were redirected and were delivered from the PO in Southampton.
  • That IS interesting! Mine are still going to Hedge End. Basically, when an organisation turns as slippery and dishonest as this one you must stay blind to all the deliberate misinformation and follow the original t&c. Anyone not knowing what they were only has themselves to blame - all the guidelines are well estanblished on here.
