Looks like a law suit about to commence again.... the only thing their price-match t&c matched were the "dirty tricks" which they learned from the dealer they stole them from. If you use this outfit, expect to sue and cover yourself accordingly. They are ra;pidly becomming one of the worst dealers.

I'am also having some trouble with e2save.
My autocashback was late (2 months late) so i've decided to send them a LBA.
I then went abroad for 2 weeks and when I came back I've found two letters from e2save. The first one was the £111 autocashback and the second one was the reply to the LBA. It looks like they've managed to send the autocashback a few day before i've send the LBA.
The reply to the LBA was just them saying I had to carry on with the 4 remaining cashback.
I've already banked the £111 autocashback cheque as there was no mention of the LBA on that letter.
The question is: Should I carry on with the law suit(MCOL)?
I've got to send my first bill next month. Have I got enough time to complete the law suit?
What is the normal time scale for the whole process?
    Sorry for all the question.:o

Continue with your obligations regarding claims until your case is completed whatever you decide, (you might lose the case, and find you have then breached the contract yourself by not sending in the claim).

If they didn't send you the amount you asked for in your LBA, then you can proceed with the action you threatened if you want to (and are sure you have a winning case). The part payment of the amount you are pursuing doesn't affect the validity of your total claim.

A MCOL can take 6/7 months to resolve from first being issued if it goes all the way, though no-one has reported about having to attend a hearing yet - so far they have settled out of court.

Very similar situation for me as Ron2256, I think. Two Nokia 6300s bought in April 2008 on 12 month O2 contracts (self and wife). Automatic cashback of £111 due some time ago on both, but not paid on either.

Emails recently to e2save brought the usual apology + promise to send cheques within 28 days, but nothing at all by way of the explanations requested.

My next step is an LBA on each contract as a start to an attempt to claim the whole £360 cashback due. Presumably I can safely bank the £111 cheques when they arrive, provided there's no unacceptable wording (which I'm sure there won't be at this stage)?

    Any tips would be appreciated.

Also reporting this to Ofcom to add to their ammunition against CPW, along with similar problems on last 4 contracts. I know they're logging all the complaints, and from talking to one of their employees I get the distinct feeling they're quite keen to launch a Phones 4U-style investigation if they can get enough evidence.

Ive held on a week before announcing this, until my final £88 cheque cleared....To be honest...Ive had no problems with E2save...even after putting the wrong number on my first claim form...but having said that, i sent the last four claims by special Delivery, with consequential loss....(£6 a go)

I wasnt expecting the final cashback to be paid as CPW Loyalty had started my new contract two months early(the lying cheats), and messed up my bill sequence, and although they promised to put it right, my final bill was bill number 3 instead of 13 and the tariff mentioned on it was not the correct one...so I didnt expect the cashback would be paid, although as CPW and E2save are the same company, i felt condfident that a judge would have said that they could have sorted this out themselves...

Luckily it doesnt look as though the person who checked my bill, did it thoroughly and the cash back was processed....and cleared

I cant be bothered with this stress any longer, so after 6 years of free phones and calls, I've opted for a sim only deal of 600minutes, 1000texts with a 200 extra minute bolt on, for 24 months at £10 a month....and with this many minutes i can now do away with my house phone...

Thanks to Quentin, mobilejunkie and Lynsey for their help and advice during my year with E2save....and thanks to the lovely EmmaC for all her help and confidence boosting, and more..................

Always send your claims to the address stipulated in your original contract...unless you receive another address in writing.....If you just "assume" you need to send it to the "fowarded address" you could well lose your claim....as you have broken your TandCs.....Its not YOUR responsibility to chase up new addresses, its THEIR responsibility to inform you of a new address, and unless they do.......dont change.....

same here , got myself a £10 sim from orange 225 anytime min 100 texts and unlimited evening and weekend calls and the great thing its no commitment - only a 1 month contract

still waiting for my last 2 bills, even tho they are always sent by email,'on my contract i could send copy of my email bills' but as my contrat has finish now they seem to be taken longer, maybe hoping i will go over the 30day time limit before i can post it off.

I had often exceeded my 600 minutes and more often my 500 texts,so wanted something that would cover all possibilities...I could have had around 300 miniutes and 300 texts for £5....but no good if i was going to exceed it every month....I'm happy with the 2 year contract as well...........so committing to this wasnt a problem....

Good advice I think. After so much hassle with previous claims which I sent to the address I was given originally (Redemptions, Dunstable, LU6 9BJ), I decided this month to try the address they quote on their website (Cashback Claims, Loughborough LE11 9EL).

I posted my claim Recorded Signed For on 7th August. I just tracked it on Royal Mail website and found that, 18 days later, it is yet to be delivered. I don't wish to be cynical (no - this lot have made me very cynical indeed!), but I'm wondering if they are refusing to sign for it until 28 days have very conveniently elapsed, rendering my claim void.

So I'm now sending another claim to the original address.

This lot are absolutely appalling. Is anything being done? Is the Consumer Association on their case?

    update on mine,
rang up e2save and she said to email my july bill to her and see if i can get my chequeback, even tho i explain that they told me to send my august bill to claim my last redemptions now it seems it is my july bill, so have to see what happens with one of my claims
    she says
'I have checked the redemption deal and see its july, but its not my last dates or claims where for august bills'

    Thank you for your e-mail.

I am very sorry to hear about the issues that you have been having in regards to your redemption deals.

In regards to mobile number .........., this account was disconnected on 4th August and therefore you will not receive a bill for the month of August. The same will apply for the mobile number .............

I believe that, from reading your previous e-mails, you are wanting to claim the last cheque for both of the redemption deals. In regards to the mobile number ......... I have checked the redemption deal and I can confirm that it is the July bill that is needed to claim the final cheque. I have been able to forward this on to the redemption department on your behalf and the cheque should be raised and you should receive it within 28 days.

In regards to the mobile number ........... I can confirm that this redemption deal is dealt with by E2Save. Therefore, unfortunately, I am unable to advise which bill is needed for the redemption offer. You can confirm the details of the redemption deal by calling E2Save on 0871 522 3403.

I hope that this information proves useful for you. If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact us again by replying to this e-mail or by contacting our Customer Support department on 0870 0870 168.
