Re the One stop phone shop sending out bills late.
Has anyone ever brought them to task over sending bills out late? (court etc)
Despite me querying it with them several times about the bill, i got the usual "its been sent" or "it must have got lost in the post". On my third request on the 1st July it arrived on the 10th July.
10 days too late to claim.
They say it's not there fault if it didn't arrive.
I did speak to a solicitor who didn't seem interested because of the £72 x 2 cashback involved, but it would appear to be a good getout system.
Any positive suggestions please
why can't you just print off a bill from networks online service and send that in? thats what i have done and they accept it no problem. I think as long as your not on a price match deal a copy is ok.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
Is there any way to check if OSPS received and validated my claim ? there used to be a cashback calculator, but it is not there any more as I aware ...All my life my mother told me the storm was coming (c) Terminator 30

Having had a bit of a problem getting my automatic cashback from E2Save earlier this year I was all ready to do battle with E2Save over my first chequeback claim which I sent off on 30/7/2008.
I was more than pleasantly surprised when the cheque arrived this morning! 2 weeks!
Strangely there was no mention of E2Save on the letter - in fact it said "Thankyou for choosing to buy from The Carphone Warehouse".
Like some of the posters above I was concerned about which address to send the claim to but decided to send it to the Crewe address which was on my original claim vouchers.0 -
Just a quick update on my case- received a special delivery letter today from e2save.
Inside was a cheque for £35 (presumably covering the MCOL fee) and a letter along the lines of the auto cashback was not paid out as a result of an error -it was never our intention not to pay it out and the non payment of it does not entitle me to claim back the rest of the cashbacks which are not due yet. For my convenience they have then detailed when the cashabcks are due.
Do they honestly expect me to accept this cheque and let the matter lie.
I am tempted to email them and let them know what I think!Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Best do nothing! (Except bank the cheque (assuming it wasn't sent "in full settlement") - and let matters take their course). If they were confident of their case they wouldn't be paying you anything!0

Exactly what they said to me!
I've sent off my allocations questionnaire and will see them in court in due course!0 -
Would anybody be willing to trade signed witness statements detailing their experiences? I think it might be worth building a body of evidence and going for punitive damages.0

Just thought I'd let you know, they didn't send me the autocashback or the first cashaback from the bill, I issued LBA asking for full amount of contract, they declined, I issued MCOL and they never responded to it and therefore lost the case. Group legal then posted me a cheque for the whole lot.0

my contract finished 7th August, nothing but trouble with them, getting my redemptions. i was told i would recive my 2 invoices for 2 mobiles i had with them, to claims my last redemption, invoices normaly come on the 10th of each month, waited till today to see if it came, which it didnt,
rang them up asking why i have not recive my last bills so i can claim my £175 intotal in redemption, after 15 min on the phone, checking and going away then coming back on phone tried to tell me i have recived all my chequebacks, saying my last one was in June there was no more to get,
i told her i have copies and a emails when i took out the contract stating the dates months and when to send in my claims, 'and Augsut was the last ones' she went off again , then said you will recive your last 2 bills invoice at the end of week,
so now i have to make sure i send off before the 30days is up. and then wait to see if i get it, as i said before nothing but trouble with getting my redemptions, hence the reason for not renewing my contract , had been with them for over 4 years but the last year with them was a nightmare, constantly ringing them, chasing them up about my claims.0
