e2save problem (merged threads)

I have also been stitched up by e2save - they seem to have a tactic of sending out monthly bills late - so that you struggle to get them back before the 28 days allowance printed on the bill! 1 'late' bill cost me 8 months of redemptions as T&C's state that if you are late returning 1 bill you lose all future claims. Be careful0

I have received the N24 "Notice of Small Claims Hearing" form, which states that I need to pay £25 for the Hearing Fee, which will take place on 23 Sept.
Has anyone reached this stage of the Claim Process, and can you advise what will be expected? There isn't any other literature on what documentation I will need to provide at thsi date - but I assume that this will come at a later stage once I pay the £25 fee. Will this fee be added to the Claim to recoup from e2save?
Thanks0 -
After having CPW's defence struck out by the court has anyone had an amended defence submitted by CPW or do they pay up at this point?0

I presumed no, but look here:If you are the claimant and you win your case, you will get the court fees back as well as the claim, and you can ask for certain expenses also. If you lose, you will not get the court fees back. But it is unlikely that you will have to pay any other costs. All my life my mother told me the storm was coming (c) Terminator 30 -

hi my original cashback vouchers state crewe, login under your account at e2save and look at the cashback vouchers, they now show loughbrough address, you can also log on under www.mycashbackclaim.co.uk if you click on the e2save logo and then email us you can fill a form in online and they will reply pretty quickly, the customer services email address no longer works but you do get a answer from that email link under mycashback, i emailed them and made sure that i was sending the bill dated so and so, that i will be sending a bill printed from the 02's website and that i will be sending it to loughborough rather than crewe and i got a reply the same day stating that yes as long as i'm not a pricematch deal i can send online bills in to the loughborough address. I sent mine off special post on the 29th July and it had tracked as delivered and no signature. so I phone them up today and I spoke to really helpful guy called nick (main telephone nbr 01509 615993), he said while i hang on he will phone royal mail up on the other line, he came back within 5 mins and said royal mail have confirmed things for him and he will speak to somone in the cashback team, went off for another 5 mins at most and said all done, your cheque will be sent out but i must allow 28 days for delivery and there are notes on the system. I've just sent another mail to them via the help tab just confirming the conversation and asking for confirmation back that there system shows what nick had told me. hopefully the first claim is in the bag, must admit that i wont be using them again probably try carphonewarehosue if they are doing any offers as that was as simple as posting the voucher off and getting a cheque back, with these guys you really have to keep on at them.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
'm still gutted about not firing off an LBA about my auto cashback- missed opportunities.
i was thinking that if i do not bank the cheque and it shows when it was raised and sent out- is this not irrefutable proof that they have breached the contract as it should have been sent out after 2 months?0 -
Yes it is.
But no reason why you shouldn't bank it - just take a copy of it first for future use if you decide you want to take issue with them over this.0 -
Re the One stop phone shop sending out bills late.
Has anyone ever brought them to task over sending bills out late? (court etc)
Despite me querying it with them several times about the bill, i got the usual "its been sent" or "it must have got lost in the post". On my third request on the 1st July it arrived on the 10th July.
10 days too late to claim.
They say it's not there fault if it didn't arrive.
I did speak to a solicitor who didn't seem interested because of the £72 x 2 cashback involved, but it would appear to be a good getout system.
Any positive suggestions please0 -
