  • Took out this same offer - got two cashback leaflets! ;)

But still not connected to Orange. I got the phone on Friday and Orange told me to contact E2save. I did so yesterday and they said it'll be connected today(72 working hours) - it hasn't - as yet!

I'm in the same situation. It's been almost 2 weeks now, I've called in 3 times and still my orange sim hasn't been activated. I sent an email to complain and they sent an auto-response telling me to call instead - madness!

I went through to sales and asked them for a contact email address for customer services. The man said the system was down and he couldn't do anything.

I then asked him how he could process any orders/sales if the system was down, and he hesitated, mumbled something and then put me on hold. Suffice to say I was swiftly cut off!
  • After ringing back the 0845 chequeback number and complaining in writing and threatening legal action they said someone from head office would contact me within 7 days....... still waiting.

Im at the end of my tether with e2save however getting a similar service from talk talk also part of cpw. There seems to be lots of us complaining on this site anyone got any ideas how a joint effort for disgruntled e2save customers might get some action??

    Another case of 'connectivitis' here.
We've been trying to connect for 10days.
Been through the customer we-don't-care wait for 30 min be cut off and when you finally get through they pass us onto someone else/another number.
    More waiting.

    Still no answers.

    As said above, beyond unaccepatble.

Should be reported to watchdog IMHO.

You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

If everyone who has a complaint against CPW / E2Save all wrote in to Watchdog then i'm sure that would get some action, especially since the TalkTalk broadband calamity!!!

Moneymanager it is not an easy business to go through the mill with these companies. I dont think anything will happen short-term but the remedies we need to look at must include:-
Making sure we have everything in writing even though their CS departments try to fob you off. Everytime something happens put it in writing.
Complain in writing even if the letter goes into the abyss. It means you can present this if you have to take them to court.
Complain to Trading Standards and the Advertising
    Authority. Write to your MP.
Eventually if we all do this something will happen to stop Dunstone and his merry gang and their like riding roughshod over us whilst at the same time claiming they have brilliant customer service.
  • I don't think it matters which address you use when you send the cashback vouchers as I sent mine to an old Wednesbury address that was on my vouchers on Monday and according to the RM tracking page it has been collected from their Dunstable office this morning. I will be expecting my text message to say they have received it soon. I'll let you know if the cheque arrives ok.

Getting cheques from E2save has gone bad again, we recieved our text messages that said wait for 14 days for cheque, you guessed it no cheque, rang the help line, answer "sorry we have a problem we have been told to tell customers the wait is now 30 days, if you havent got it in another 15 days ring back" what a shower!!

Just found out (in the nick of time as I am just about to send in a claim) that their cashback address has changed to:

    Redemptions
    P.O. Box 4311
    Dunstable
    LU6 9BJ
I just sent mine to the old address.. they never even emailed to tell me. It all must get redirected though(glad i sent by special delivery this time)
