Incidentally, I was told to send cashback claims to the Loughborough address. Apparently, they are consolidating the cashback operations there and mail to the Crewe addresses is being forwarded (or so she said).
Thank you Fifer, for sharing the message. Could you please (if possible) update us with what's going on with your new claim, so that we are clear what to do with our claims in the future?

Also we've yet to receive automated cheques which was due in october. Despite many long phone calls in fact I called them today waiting 20 mins before I gave up!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaggggghhhh

I don't think there is anything automatic about the automated cashback. I think you have to try again on the phone. I got through today but not on the non-geo number. They told me 28 days. If it doesn't come in that time I shall hit them with the legal remedies.

I just got a letter saying my claim was to old for the claim period but it wasnt! I think I may have been near the cut of dead line but the bill sent was right. Is it worth calling or just take the hit :(

READ the threads. And my guide:-

If people DID they wouldn't get themselves into yours (and many other) situations or need to ask such questions unless they ignored what they read! Personally, I think it's well overdue to make it a sticky.

agree there - and I don't think anyone cares about mercury telecoms or whether or not 3 is any good any more - those are old stories and more dried up than sticky!

  • The evil E2 save gits gave me conflicting cashback claim form information. Subsequently, I didn't send off the first claim (I was waiting to send it off after 6 months as advised with the information I received with my phone) which was due after four months (I found this information from their website) I realised this and rectified it for the second claim, which they sent me a cheque for. Came to the third claim and they sent me a letter saying that my entire claim was invalid due to the initial mistakes on my part!

Well cheesed off and wondering if I have a leg to stand on....?

read this thread - particularly stuff from mobilejunkie (and his cashback guide for dummies) - your problems have pretty much been covered here. Not sure if you'll succeed though the fact they paid out the 2nd time kind of says there was nothing wrong with your first, but it's dodgy ground you're standing on rather than a problem with the leg!

Just an update in case any one else has same problem as me. After calling them today was told that I have to send original bill in showing original number before we ported old number and six month bill and cashback will be honoured. Also all claims should now go to Loughborough address.

Not mine. If it's not in writing it doesn't exist.

Although RM's redirection hasnt worked, but i'm claiming consequential loss from Royal Mail...
