It is no good anyone relying on hearsay regarding this.

Just send the claims in to the address you were originally told to when first taking out the contract.

You are breaking the ts + cs if you don't follow them to the letter.

At least one member here has reported how he has lost all his cshback because he used the wrong address to send in the claim.

You cannot be faulted if you follow this advice, but you can if you use any other address without being given specific instructions, personal to you and in writing.

i think this is bad advice...until they write to you and tell you so!!!!

Although RM's redirection hasnt worked, but i'm claiming consequential loss from Royal Mail...

e2Save instructs on its website that all claims should be sent to Loughborough address, so can we print that off as an evidence, and enclose it with our claims to Loughborough address. I fully respect Mobilejunkie, Quentin, bassman and Lynsey's advice, but I just think in this way it might avoid any delays in redirction of mails which results in fail in claims due to breach of 28-day policy.

Since my claims always have weeks to spare it's not an issue. Their website also gives this advice:-

"Phone between 1st November 2006 and the 31st March 2008.

    • For a 12 month contract:

For Gift value of £50 or less we require your 6th and 8th monthly bills to arrive with us within 28 days of the date stated on the monthly bill.

For Gift value of £100 we require your 6th, 8th and 10th monthly bills to arrive with us within 28 days of the date stated on the monthly bill.

For Gift value over £100 we require your 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th monthly bills to arrive with us within 28 days of the date stated on the monthly bill."
    - which is completely WRONG for anyone on a so-called price-match deal among others (as all were between June and Decmber 2007). As usual, eople can make their own judgements about which advice to follow - though those who have followed mine never complain!

The address on my claims vouchers do not correspond to the address that was displayed both on their website terms and conditions and in the e-mail they sent me at the time.

As long as you have some form of evidence which shows that they encouraged you to send to the address (printout of their web site at time in question, address on photocopy of the vouchers, etc) then I'm sure you will be OK.

Just make sure you do have evidence, and aren't just going on what they say over the phone!

BUT DONT FORGET, "price match customers may have extra terms to comply with" which is all over the website and the T+Cs.

Bumptobabe: you are lucky as they do not have to pay you as you never sent the original bill...
I sent bill dated 9th march as soon as i got it, for 1st cash back to the CREWE ADDRESS and yes it redirected to loughboro but i got my cheque less than 3 weeks later.

RM appear to have lost mine, but as ive taken out consequential loss....I hope they have, as it will save the usual bi monthly worry....providing they dont renege on their promise.....

I wonder if someone could help me please. I submitted a MCOL for approx £500 in relation to the non payment of my first Price Match claim. This was subject to their "Standard" defence and I was given an allocation deadline by the Court. 10 days ago I received an e-mail from Office of Charles Dunstone stating that they would pay full sum by cheque within 5 working days subject to them not accepting liability. I replied by e-mail and agreed to the offer but no cheque has been forthcoming and now the allocation deadline is looming. Could this be a calculated gamble on CPW's part that I will not proceed with allocation? What will happen if I pay the Court Fee for allocation and the cheque arrives? Will I be able to claim the £50 Court Fee?

If a cheque arrives between you confirming the hearing, and the hearing taking place, then your case continues over the balance outstanding on the claim (which in this case will be any remaining court fees).

If you still have enough time. You might want to give them the benefit of the doubt (over an admin error in paying you as promised), and write giving them (say) 3 days more to pay up or you will proceed.
  • Thanks Quentin for your kind reply. I followed up with a reminder e-mail last Thursday and again did not receive any response. Unfortunately they did not supply a telephone number in their e-mail and have not acknowledged either my acceptance of their offer or my follow up e-mail. I will submit allocation form in person at Court on Monday and let you all know how I get on. This forum has been so useful throughout this process and I would again like to thank all the contributors.
