I had a problem with my last claim. My current one is well overdue. I tried to phone today without a reply. My plan of action is now as follows.
    1. fill out a report form on the BBC Watchdog site (others please do this too)
    2. write a report to Ofcom.
    3. Refer to Trading Standards in the locations of the E2Save offices.
4.Refer to the Competition Commission on the grounds of an unfair distortion of the market (offering incentives which are not fulfilled, thereby attracting a higher proportion of the market).

If this does not work then there are provisions under EU law which cover points 3 and 4.

I am also happy to join a peaceful protest outside of a flagship Carphone Warehouse store with full media attention if others are aggrieved enough to join me.

At all stages I will ensure that this is part of Carphone Warehouse, and not solely E2save, which most people have not heard of.

Why not just do what the rest of us do?

LBA followed if necessary by MCOL.

Much less stress, and far more rewarding!

Or...you could send an LBA to e2save threatening court for the total remainder of your cashback, and if necessary actually complete the court order - will probably be much easier & effective than your 4 points above!
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...

Points 1-4 are a complete and utter waste of time. Others would do well to follow the repeated advice (and resulting repeated successes) on the many threads on the company.

MCOL completed today for full cashback amount due to non payment of automatic cashback.
    Bring it on!

  • i have checked the contract that they provided and no mention of cancelling the contract. i am happy to pay the cancellation charges but not random while the phone has been inactive.

please let me know if there is a cancellation policy, if so, how much?

Read up the terms and conditions on the network's website.

Normally to terminate early involves a charge equal to the line rental for the minimum contract period remaining.

Hi All, just to update on my posts a couple of weeks ago.(1238 i think). e2save failed to stump up cashback and didn't offer defence to MCOL, so today I was able to ask the courts to make a judgement by default, this seems stupid to me because they have to pay £25 on top of my claim. This doesn't make financial sense on their part  why not just pay it in the first place ? - i think the clincher was in the Royal Mail tracking number using their preferred method of recorded delivery.

Keep you posted, Toodle Pip

I purchased a Samsung phone on 02 Tariff (O2 800) as a special buy from e2save last August with 11 months free line rental to be claimed as cashback. However, the first claim was to be made in January and I was late in sending it off. Hence I will now loose out on the £495 cashback.

Please - is there anything AT ALL I can do to minimise my loss? Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
