Send it back asking them to issue you a correct one by return of post. Keep a copy and send it recorded delivery.

it's however a TOTAL STITCH up that all the other redemptions become completley void after missing just 1?! is it worth me reading the hundreds of threads here to see if i can contest this....

It would be better to read your ts + cs. If there is no mention of this you can dispute the matter with them.

If it allows them to void all claims if you mess up, then all you can do is put it down to experience!

    Hi all,

I am in the process of taking e2save/Carphone Warehouse to court. So for ive LBA'd them and issued proceedings against them with MCOL. Ive just had a defense from them so the claim will be preceding off line to court. The defense is in a standard format denying all claims against them. Im pretty confident that Ive stuck to the terms and conditions that I signed up to, so I will be pursuing this through the court.

Id be interested in knowing if anyone else has proceeded to court, what was the outcome?, did they show up? anyone got any tips for me?

I will keep you all posted with updates.......

Huggins, for what it's worth, I would personally seek proper legal advice.
I believe, rightly or wrongly, that the T&C's are UNFAIR with regards to losing all future cashbacks. Lose the one you messed up, fair enough, but to void all future cashbacks seems to me UNFAIR.
Contact your local Consumer Advice office for further advice, use the free 30 minutes with a solicitor, check your household insurance - it may cover you for legal advice, but give it a try, and of course post back here and let us know how you got on.

    The very best of luck,

    Lynsey

Many thanks Lynsey i will look into - it is a total stitch which ever way you look at it!
  • I sent the appropriate bill for cashback with e2save in January this year. I then received a confirmation text on 30th January that they'd signed for my claim for cashback ("Your bill has been received for your cashback. Cheques for successful claims will be with you within 30 days and a letter is sent if your claim is unsuccessful.").

However, it is now over 45 days since receiving this SMS. I've tried contacting e2save on their given contact number (0871 522 3400) and haven't managed to get through to them except for once, and on that one time, she put me straight through to another line after explaining my situation where I waited for 30 minutes before giving up.

Can anyone help? I'm looking for advice on the best way to go about retrieving my money, alternative contact numbers, even addresses. I'm not going to be done over £37 because I simply haven't received the cheque.

    Many thanks in advance.

Always the same. Send a LBA then sue if they don't pay.
  • Hi,

Can anyone help me please by checking this for me please.

I have a price match deal and my first cashback is due soon.

The phone was connected on the 22 of December 2007 and my first bill was also on this date.

Now reading the condtions: Cashback Claim Process:

"Instalment 1: - You will need to claim 4 months from connection and you have 30 days from this date to submit your claim. Send us the claim form and monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to. (This bill must be no older than 28 days when we receive it and have no balance brought forward.)

i.e. if you purchased on the 1st of January, you need to send in the bill that is dated around the 1st of May, and you will have until the 30th of May to do so. This is 120 days (4 months) after connection."

I believe i need to send my 5th bill so that would be 22 april

    1st bill - 22 Dec - connection bill
    2nd bill - 22 Jan
    3rd bill - 22 Feb
    4th bill - 22 March
5th bill -22 April - is this the bill I need to send?

Thank you in advance for your help
