What do magistrates have to do with it?
Judgement in county court cases is based on the appropriate laws. Nothing to do with any subjective issues.
Personal opinion plays a large part in UK law, I would like my local magistrate to feel favourably towards me in this and future cases.
Although E2save now have such a bad rep in the court system, they are unlikely to win any case brought against them by anyone.0 -
You tell us how UK law works, but you also go on about keeping in with your magistrate.
Your local magistrate won't know about this county court matter.
If you have to go up in front of the magistrate to answer a criminal summons, and he refers to any cases you have on-going in the county court you have grounds for asking for a re-trial with a new beak!0 -

I sent off my first claim on the 12th March via Special Delivery and it was delivered on the 14th March as it was re-directed.
When should I expect to receive an email or a cheque? I understand I should only allow them 14 working days to laod details onto system and 28 working days from receipt to process.
Do I just sit back and wait??
anyone have an idea?0 -
Check your ts + cs to see what timescale they agreed to pay you in.
Then sit back and wait.
If they don't pay you within the time scale you can then decide how you want to proceed.
Lots of advice about this on this forum!0 -
so it's 28 working days as I mentioned??0
-
You can only go on what your own ts + cs say. Especially if you are considering legal action to get your money.
(Though I don't recall ever seeing the timescale you mention)
This is my T's and C's for the price match deal I signed up to:

We will email you when your redemption paperwork is loaded onto our system and when it is processed for payment. it takes up to 14 working days from receipt to load and 28 working days from receipt to process.0
