I think people should continue to send claims to the address given in their original T&C's. It is up to e2s to arrange collection/redirection as they wish - nothing to do with the customer, and you are giving them a potential get-out.

I agree. However, the latest t&c are not as clear-cut. One lot of forms says Crewe, the other the new Loughborough address. I have decided on my plan of action in 6 months' time when the first claim is due, but will monitor closely as always to see what happens in the interim. Naturally, I have copied everything at every stage so am happy to argue an excellent case in the worse case scenario (not with E2Save of course, but with the judge - zero point in arguing anything with these brainless people)!

After having a number of 12month free contracts and being very particular on keeping track of dates etc I have never had any problems with cashback until now with E2Save. I am into month 8 and the 3rd cashback claim on this contract of which the first 2 were paid no problem to get a rejection letter saying that I sent the claim in too early.

I have re-submitted the claim explaining that I have followed exactly the same process as my previous claim sent the 8th bill dated 21st February in on the 25th February so how can I be too early.

Further to the above I have now managed to get through to customer services who tell me that it is not the date on the bill but the date that I was connected. so despite it being exactly the same bill and rest of the information I should have sent it after the 5th March. I will now see what happens on the re-submission! According to the letter sent I can re-submit and the T&C but the person??? on the end of the phone said you only get one chance so that is it!! It could be a court job!

Has anyone taked E2Save to court yet?

Those things have all been well covered for a few months now on this and a number of other threads relating to E2Save and OSPS.

I had a similar problem lowbrim except they said my claim was too late - It wasn't - like you I'd done exactly the same as previously. I complained. They ignored it. I issued a letter before action and they paid up, both that claim and the next one. I now have two claims left to do.

lowbrim; my point is that the problems are avoidable if you understand how they are working - as are the remedies. Both are covered extensively on here. Anyone wishing to avoid the problems can use the posts on these threads to submit their claims accordingly. That is one of the main reasons people like me take the time and trouble to warn people of the many pitfalls. Hopefully some people will read them before the event and thus negate the need to write a LBA and subsequently sue. Sometimes I have to wonder if many do though.
