I have put another warning about this on my little guide today!

I have always thought before posting and have credited E2 Save with paying out cashbacks to me without hassle or fuss ( feel free to read my previous posts) .Unfortunately they are now being awkward and are poncing me about saying they haven't received my claim and could i give details such as Transaction Number, Postal Tracking No, Order ID and Mobile Phone Number. This was in an email sent from E2 Save which included all the details listed above sent by me!!

Response from myself :
as seen above, the royal mail track number has been supplied to you, which confirms that my documents were delivered; "Your item with reference D********** was delivered from our HEDGE END Delivery Office on 31/01/08 ". all my details were supplied to you and delivered via royal mail recorded delivery as per your t&c's.

as you are in fundamental breach of contract by not paying my cashback within the agreed 21 days of submission, i give this as my Formal Letter Before Action, and wish to offer you this opportunity to correct this situation by you meeting your contractual obligation and issuing cheque for £62.25 to reach me no later than 6pm 13th march 2008.

should this not be forthcoming i shall be obliged to pursue this through the courts.

:cool::cool: see what happens:confused:

I think you should check your t&c. There is no 21 day payment promise in the ones you signed up to!

T & C's dont specify when the cash will be sent but the literature that came with it (if its worth anything) states 45 days if they can verify the claim, which they cannot, and their website at present states that phones purchased on or after 1.11.06 12 month deals will be paid within 30 days of receipt of claim. As my claim was received via Royal Mail recorded (their spec) on 31.1.08 , they have had 36 days so far, so will issue a MCOL on day 46. This may seem a bit over zealous but they would not afford me the same leeway under any circumstances. As the T & C's appear not clear and payment time isn't open ended I feel that 46 days is ok. Give 'em hell! Lol!
• I thought I'd have a go at posting some stuff on here too. If for nothing other than venting off some steam coz I too get the feeling I'm being stuffed by E2save and whatever other name they go by. AND it would appear that the way they conduct their business only shows them off to be the cowards that they are.

Should I consider my self to be one of the lucky ones because I actuall got my 1st two claims paid to me? Perhaps.

However, it's the third one I am now having problems with. I sent them the claim just like the 1st 2 and got my text from them telling me they have received it, but I am still waiting for my cheque.

I phoned their customer services only to told that they could help me and that I had to the Cash back Team direct which I did but never managed to get through. From then on I have sent them several emails detailing the problem and have never received a formal reply, just am automated one saying you would reply within 2 days and that all their emails are logged. That was a week ago and still nothing. Their automated reply email came from customerservices@e2save.com who I have since tried to email to but got a non-delivery back saying "User Unknown"

This is one of the emails I sent them. I won't bother you with the rest as I have sent a barage of them, with me getting angrier and angrier (perhaps that's what they like to do. Maybe they were abused children!!), but it will show you the sort of problems I have endured with this lot - you are not alone, and funny enough, I don't feel like I am either:

Sent to help@onestopphoneshop.co.uk

On Monday I tried contacting your Customer Care on 0871 522 3400. I rang in the morning and was put on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up. I was continuously subjected to a message (and music), telling me that due to the popularity of your service, that you are experiencing high call volumes. Popularity? I hope so and not complaints!

It troubles me that you offer no other alternative than 0871 telephone numbers for your existing customers to call knowing full well that these numbers are "payable" at a premium, whereas a 0800 is free from landline and geographic numbers in a lot of cases like mine are free these days, and of course are part of a mobile tariff bundle. Quite obviously an equitable agreement between yourselves and the landline communications companies.

I called back on the same number mid afternoon and held for a further 20 minutes before giving up again. Disgraceful, when you consider how much it has cost me for those two calls alone, and all I want to do is chase up on my most recent cheque back that I have not received.

I decided to call your sales number on 0800 049 6487 and surprise surprise the call was answered within 60 seconds. Amazing when it is you that is picking up that tab!

I explained what I wanted to the lady on the phone and she said that she she could not deal with this from there and that I had been calling the wrong number anyway, as the Cash Back Team are on another number, which you can imagine made me even more angry when you come to realise the time and money wasted previously.

She told me I needed to phone 0871 522 3403. Another 0871 number.

I rang it and guess what? I got the same repeating message as on the other number. I held for 20 minutes getting angrier and angrier before giving up again.

I phoned again yesterday and again held for 20 minutes before hanging up. Is this what you call Customer Care?

Now, all I want to know is what has happened to my cheque cash back?

I don't care if you have someone reply to me by return email or have someone phone me, but have someone contact me somehow about this.

So as you can probably tell, I've had no response and have still not seen anything of my cheque ormanaged to speak to anyone about it.

I suppose it serves me right for getting involved with them in the first place. It is all so very typical of the internet revolution this blah blah blah.....oh bug*er it I'm going. I've havd enough rambling. Arrrgh!!

Thanks yorkiebar, but what department is this the direct number to?

Cheers
• Actually I've just tried that number.

It rings once and disconnects.

I found another similar number at saynoto0780.com for onestopphoneshop - 01270 504400.

I rang that one and surprise surprise it does the same thing.

It would appear these people are one step ahead all the time. The moment someone finds a cheaper number to call them on they probably have it disconnected.

Like I said in my email to them, they perhaps have a rather equitable arrangement with the landline comms companies. Afterall, provide them with 0870 numbers and loads of people will be using them to make complaints......and hang on for long periods of time.

STOP thinking you can reason with E2Save! What's the matter with everyone? Lol! Send a LBA and then sue. pentagon; if you did it right and have the confirmation text, just follow the groundrules or it will cost you far more in useless premium rate numbers than you'll potentially get back God knows when!!

I saw the geographical numbers posted earlier; it is most unwise to post them on here. If you do they will almost immediately become useless. A phrase I used months ago on the first post of my guide comes back to mind; this is a game with real money (yours) and a stacked deck (theirs). If you want to play, learn the rules or you won't win! Just got another deal from them by the way (plus another for one of the people I look after)! No way I'll end up like so many on these threads! Lol!
