Interesting to note that the terms and conditions which I was sent by the post and via email in August 2007 when I started the contract differ from the terms that they are using to refuse my cashback. Even more interesting that when I right click on the terms they are applying and check out properties that the PDF document was created on 28 September 2007 (ie a month after I took out the contract)
At the same time they have killed the link to the terms and conditions that they emailed me. Fortunately I have copies of the page on my computer.

Is it possible that they are being a little bit sneaky?

They will try anything to get out of paying. Make sure of all your facts and get all paperwork together. State your case and if they still wont pay, take them to the small claims court.

Some questions (I am on a price match deal):

I recieved no "Claims Vouchers" and no "cashback claim form" leaflet

Can I print the voucher PDF files on the e2save website?

Under Cashback Vouchers on the offer in my account there is
"Click here to download your cashback vouchers"
    This file is called special_terms_voucher.pdf

    Under cashback breakdown there is
"Click here for more details about your cashback."
    This file is called Chequebackform.pdf

Sorry I didn't quite get to the point, the different PDF documents have DIFFERENT addresses! (PO Box differs)

    Does it matter?

    Yes.

You must stick to the relevant ts + cs.

If you post your claim to the wrong address, then you have breached the contract, allowing them to get out of paying you.

    Don't worry, I am!
The link to the terms the emailed to me went dead after I sent them my LBA (well not actually dead, but it now goes to a page that says this page has now been superceeded. A month ago it went to the 'Cheque Back Offers' PDF file that the email instructed me to use when claiming). It looks like they are trying to cover up the terms sent to me and replace them with new ones

But I never received vouchers and BOTH were on the website at TIME OF PURCHASE, so how do I pick?

In the email I got when purchasing it linked to the Chequebackform.pdf so is this the correct one?

No. Use the ones which were linked to the actual t&c you signed up to at the time. Your really SHOULD have printed the vouchers off immediately AT THE POINT OF PURCHASE; then there's no confusion and whatever else they intentionally muddy the waters with after the event, you are covered.

As I must have repeated 100 times by now on these threads; much of the information in emails and on the account pages IS TOTALLY WRONG!! The only way you know that is by knowing EXACTLY what you signed up to AT THE POINT OF PURCHASE - including the right wouchers!

A warning (AGAIN!) to everyone using this company OR Onestopphoneshop - which IS now the SAME company - cover yourself from the start and not afterwards; research and understand EXACTLY what you're doing BEFORE you do it - or DON'T do it!

I'm due to make first ever claim very shortly... So I thought I'd be prepared, read through this thread and be very clear on what I need to do so I don't get caught out again (having just been shafted by Simply 3G.)

However... I'm a bit worried that my workings out are not right and I fear I may have cocked it up already. So I guess I am pleading for someone to take pity and hold my hand a bit.:o

I took out my (Price Promise) contract on 3rd November 2007. By my workings, i will have been connected for 120 days on 2nd March. From this I have assumed that my bill dated 4th Feb is too early and I need to send off my March 4th Bill. I'll be sending it to PO BOX 462, Crewe (as stated on the vocuhers) and should I send it special delivery?

I think I've read too many posts now and while I was originally confident I'd got it right, I am panicking now... With a tiny baby in the house, we cannot afford for this one to go wrong, so any help is really appreciated...
  • so what is it, other than you're actual phone bill... you must send in you're cashback claim?

am i correct in saying your adress? is writing my adress on a piece of paper good enough?
is there ANYTHING else other than my bill no9 i need to send back to e2save in crewe cashbacks for a valid claim??

You've got it right, send off your March 4th bill ASAP, then the following bills, May 4th, July 4th, Sept. 4th and finally Nov. 4th's.
    Don't forget your "transaction number".
I always use special delivery, take no chances, that's what the Quidco money is used for.
Keep copies of everything, I number each page I send and photo them all stapled together, so there's no missing pages. I also send all bill pages and a forwarding letter telling them how I expect to be paid according to my T&C's.
To be fair, they have been excellent with the 1st two cashbacks, very quick, by far the best company so far, let's hope it continues, 3rd cashback will be sent on the 12th March.

Best of luck and keep us posted.

Send the original bill with your name, mobile number and tariff you're connected to printed on it. No need to send your name on another bit of paper. Staple the voucher to it and make sure you send it to the address printed on the voucher. COPY EVERYTHING! and most importantly, keep all copies. Cannot stress that enough. I have always used first class recorded to send my claims and every one has got there. Staple your receipt to the bill copies and keep them together, just incase of any problems. Stick to these rules and you should have no problems.
