Who knows with them any more? Who cares? Send as per original t&c then don't play their games if they don't pay. As long as you can prove it reached where it was supposed to - whether redirected thereafter or not - YOU have met the t&c and they have no choice but to cough up unless you withold the appropriate medicine.0

Here here!
I read the t&c's with every new contract and stick to the rules rigidly. I keep copies of everything and the recorded delivery slips are stapled to the relevant bill. Have never had problems up until this last claim, which they admitted they messed up. Have done them for every member of my family as well0 -
Some questions (I am on a price match deal):
I recieved no "Claims Vouchers" and no "cashback claim form" leaflet
Can I print the voucher PDF files on the e2save website?
Under Cashback Vouchers on the offer in my account there is
"Click here to download your cashback vouchers"
This file is called special_terms_voucher.pdf
Under cashback breakdown there is
"Click here for more details about your cashback."
This file is called Chequebackform.pdf0 -
Seems the only answer you need is "yes".0

I've lost my recorded delivery receipt (i know it's my fault) and online at Royal Mail it says they can't do anything with the ref no, is there anyway of going through customer service and using my name, address etc.
It was showing as delivered on 4th Feb and if I complain to carphone they'll want to see the proof
I think I'm stuffed0 -
You may well be. Basic groundrule (among others) is to keep EVERYTHING studiously. Drawing it to the attention of E2Save will be playing into their hands. I very much doubt Royal Mail (not any better as far as customer service is concerned) will lift a finger to help. Have E2Save denied receipt? If not they may still pay.0

Do you still have the ref number? When I rang in about my
claim they only asked for the number and checked it on the RM web site. I didn't need the actual slip.0 -
If they can remember the first part of the number (unlikely I know) the rest may fill in automatically on the same computer.0

If it's going to autofill, a left click once your already in the reference number box will normally come up with any references you've already entered - it does with me.0 -
Interesting to note that the terms and conditions which I was sent by the post and via email in August 2007 when I started the contract differ from the terms that they are using to refuse my cashback. Even more interesting that when I right click on the terms they are applying and check out properties that the PDF document was created on 28 September 2007 (ie a month after I took out the contract)
At the same time they have killed the link to the terms and conditions that they emailed me. Fortunately I have copies of the page on my computer.
Is it possible that they are being a little bit sneaky?"To be is to do" - Socrates. "To do is to be" - Jean-Paul Sartre."Do be do be do" - Frank Sinatra. "Scooby Dooby Doooo" - Scooby Doo. "Boop de Doop de Boo" - Betty Boo.0
