I have always used first class recorded to send my claims and every one has got there.

The problem with some e2save cashbacks (particularly pricematch) is they generally will only accept originals (excepting cpw 02 bills).

If the claim gets lost, or delivered late, then you are stumped - recorded delivery won't help.

The only way to be sure you aren't going to lose all your cashback is to use special delivery with consequential loss insurance added.

But I never received vouchers and BOTH were on the website at TIME OF PURCHASE, so how do I pick?

In the email I got when purchasing it linked to the Chequebackform.pdf so is this the correct one?

What date did you purchase the phone?
If someone elase in this thread bought one at the same time, maybe they would know the correct address for the t & cs at that time. Worth a try!

Had problems with my last claim (They couldn't work out 180 days from connection:rolleyes: )
Was told to resubmit my claim using copies, so I think they will accept them if it can be shown you did everything correctly. They asked for the recorded delivery reference to check the rm website for delivery date and that was acceptable.

That's merely a ploy to mess people around. As long as you can prove they received it and followed the legal t&c why play their game? Chances are they will leave you dangling forever if you so choose. They can't work out 180 days because they aren't following the legal t&c in the first place. Since they treat their customers now with the utmost contempt people should show resolve in return in my view.

Well I've found my recorded delivery proof of postage and rang 01509615993 and they admit they received the claim form on the 4th Feb and now the guy (John) says I've got to fax a copy of my bill to get it processed, they don't half try to rip you off, I shouldn't need to do this but then to make matters worse, he's given my a wrong fax number and I'm not waiting for another 20 mins to get through

Has anyone got the correct number, I was given 0871 222 6505 , ahhhh I assume it's a premium rate number that's the reason it's not gone through, can anyone help????
  • Interesting.

I phoned up E2SAVE standard customer line, through in just over 10 minutes, not the cashback.
explained cashback line never got answered, and explained im due to send away my cashback but my last one got refused.
    the conversation went like this

me; my last cashback got refused and it says that i need to provide my bill, with my mobile number, full adress, tarriff and that my account is paid up to date, and that it must be no longer than 28 days from the date of my bill..... IM just about to send new claim form but dont understand what additional information i have to send AS THIS INFORMATION IS ALREADY ON MY BILL

E2SAVE; well you need to send you're voucher, otherwise we dont know how to process your claim, if its not got reference number

me; I sent my voicher which is stapled to the bill, it has my name mobile number and signature on it

E2SAVE; it must be the date you sent it then, you must have sent it after the period you are allowed

[AT THIS POINT I REALISE THEY ARE SCREWING ME!!!]........

me; but the bill is stamped 16 january and the date on my bill is the 21st december, that would mean ive sent it in time would it not

E2SAVE; i think you might have had a mistaken rejection, do you have the royal mail code so i can check it with my boss? i can give you a few minutes to go and find it.....

[THANKFULLY I STILL HAD IT IN MY DRAWER]

    me; the number is **********

E2SAVE; give me 2-5 minutes while i check this out and talk to my boss....

    5 mins later...

E2SAVE; it appears you have had an incorrect rejection, it will normally take 5-7 days for the process, but you should hear back within 5-7 days

me; so I send this bill exactly the same way i sent my last bill? it was sent correctly all along?

E2SAVE; yes, you should send it now or you'l be too late

    me; thanks very much mate!

SO IT LOOKS LIKE E2SAVE TRIED TO PULL A FLY MOVE ON ME.NOT HAPPY. BUT HOPEFULLY IL GET REFUNDED.

ps. can anyone confirm that i only need to send my bill [which has mu number, adress, tariff and balance paid up to date] E2SAVE said MISTAKE and i did send correctly so send it the same but i dont know with this company

il let u know how my Appeal goes when i hear back from them.
    cheers

I'm getting a bit peed off now, I've tried loads of times and it has dead tone then after a while message on fax machine no reponse/too busy

Is it worth just sending the copy with details on in post, what's the best address to send to or should it be same as where I originally sent my claim voucher.
