You've either got AOL Talk as well, or someone put on the £9.99 plan that is supposed to be for AOL Talk customers only, even though you're not.

Same as Jazzy_B then. The agent put you on a price plan that is meant to be only for customer who also have AOL Talk.

Firstly deanos - don't be so rude. Manners cost nothing.

I don't have to quantify my information to you or anybody, but put it this way, I have very close links with CPWN, Talk Talk and AOL Broadband, and their respective offers and price plans (including those available to Member Save agents).

£9.99 Silver should only be offered to non-LLU members who also take an AOL Talk plan. Non-LLU members who do not have an AOL Talk product should not be offered £9.99 (though I am aware that sometimes this does happen).

It was not a mistake that i have Silver for £9.99 on a non LLU exchange, as ive explained many many people are on the same package as me and it was not a mistake by the agent, there is a post on here somewhere about it, i pay £9.99 a month as i have from day 1 of being with AOL

I apologise that it comes across rude, but dont presume that you know everything as you clearly dont ;)

Apology accepted. Btw, I have not claimed to know everything. However, when it comes to AOL Broadband offers and promotions, I dare say I know a lot more than some kid on a forum.

Anyway deanos, I'm not going to engage in an argument with you on the internet, since those that do often appear petty and stupid, even if they're the one in the right (as I am).

If you want to discuss anything AOL related then I suggest you PM me, as this has thread has gone far enough off-topic already.

My exchange is non LLU but I am paying AOL £14.99 for 1Mbps.

I have asked AOL for a reduction because I had read others were paying £9.99.

They offered me an 18 month contract with £9.99 for the first six months and £17.99 for the rest:eek:

I asked for my MAC and am looking for a better deal and faster speed!

This is one of the correct Member Save offers for those not taking an AOL Talk product. To get a better offer, consider taking AOL Talk and, if you want it, call back and you should then be offered £9.99. Alternatively check www.samknows.com for LLU operators in your exchange, and see what they have to offer you.
