I'm sorry if this should be somewhere else but I have just 'phoned them to say that people on here are reporting that they are getting AOL Silver for £9.99. There was a bit of a pause and then I was told it was only last month and only for people on dial-up. I was offered a reduction to £14.99 (from £17.99) with a free wireless thingy but it had to be a one year contract. Any comments please. Am I just not tough enough?

They let me have it for £9.99 last night, so the operator was talking bull.

Phone up again. The guy who got me down to £9.99 was called Shane Riley, so just quote his name if you have too :)

I know they were giving me an extra month free because they put the wrong migrtaion code in , looks like they have added too much :j

Have a look , im sure its in credit as that is where the £15.99 was listed in the narrowband credit box

I used the on line help and it worked. Just now. Hooray. What shall I do with the extra £8 per month - I'll think of something :money:

I want to know if they are making any profit at £9.99 a month?

Or they just getting as many customers as possible prior to sale of it and trying to tie as many as possible to another 12 months contract to make it look more appealing to the buyer?

Im not sure , AOL are a huge company and i guess they have loads of capacity so its better to get £9.99 from someone rather than let them leave and get £0
