Sorry can't really help much but did you read this bit:

"We recommend that you create a new Screen Name which your router can use to connect to AOL - because if you use an existing Screen Name, your router will lose its connection to AOL if you sign on from another location using that same Screen Name." and the other text in red.

As you are failing to authenticate, it must be related to this.

Yeah tried that too. I have just tried the bt test login and it authenticates immediately but still not on aol. Had enough now.

Trying again as I type. The music whilst I am waiting is starting to grate on me.

14 attempts so far, 1 of which I was getting somewhere when I was cruelly cut off

    :T Shane from Ireland :D

Sorted it out for me, no problem at all.

Has told me I will get an e-mail, and within 48 hours I should be back on Silver. My next bill date is 27th so he said my next bill will be £9.99 not £29.99

So I best get downloading those updates on all my programs

  • Are new customers managing to negotiate £9.99 per month for AOL Silver with a free wireless router, or just existing/upgrading AOL Anytime users?

didnt get the free router, just the 9.99 deal with no contract, I could have had the 9.99 deal and free router but would have had to have the contract for 12mths,
  • Hi

What's the best deal available with AOL Platinum? I have a MAC code and I don't need any h/w. £29.99 is way too steep though. Just wondering what others have managed to get?

    thanks!
