  • Hi all.

Been up since 8am and have done 3 loads, all hung on the line, and have cleaned the house top to bottom. My brother is on his way and should be here in about an hour.

We are going to see my nan later, as my brother has to get a flight home to Hong Kong tomorrow so will be the only chance he gets to see her.

She still looks well, it is hard to believe she has lung cancer.

Oh well bette get on, looks like it is going to rain here!!!!

Kaz I've just rung up and enquired for you, if you just pop the vouchers back to them with a covering letter explaining what has happened (I told them you had mislaid the vouchers and only found them again after they'd gone out of date) they will put the points back on to your clubcard.

    The freepost address is

tesco did this over the phone for me
I had to give them numbers off out of date vouchers and my clubcard number and they sent new ones in the post

    number I rang was 0800 591 688

What is wrong with these men - its about time they realised they are now out of nappies and are responsible for their own actions:mad: Couldnt Mr TM get the evening job hun - he does seem to have a lot of jolly time compared to you who its difficult to fit lunch in with all your committments. Anyway you know where I am for a rant:D (then lets get Prague booked and leave Mr TM in charge to learn what its really all about!);)

Having a very lazy day today done a couple of washloads which are out and nearly dry and then watched BB from last night.

Was going to sort the freezer out (defrost and chuck out - food that is not the freezer:rolleyes: ) but I think I may leave that in preference to a stroll down to our new local pub which does a fab carvery:beer: (its a Toby and you can get a carvery sandwich for 3.95 which has more meat on it than i would normally eat in a week!) Its really nice not having loads of plans - problem is I dont know what to do!!:D

On the other hand if I was being really good I really should do my VAT and expenses but it takes all day so I think Ill leave that till tomorrow maybe:o

PP that day out for DD sounds fantastic - I hope she and DH have a fab time and that you have a good chill day:smiley:

Have a great weekend all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Aww moggins (((hugs))) thank you.
Envelope is stuck to the front door so I don't forget to post it.
Glad - thanks also for posting the tel no. I'm actually being even cheekier and asking them if they would also backdate those I've thrown due to being out of date. Fingers crossed !!! (Cheeky I know - but every little helps eh?)
TM (((Hugs))) I know where you are coming from on this one. My marriage eventually failed - and unfortunately I ended up footing most of the debt. If only I knew then what I know now! Anyway, my car sign says it all now 'ex husband in boot' :D

    Afternoon all,

Hugs to anyone who needs or just wants one....

Today I went to Sainsburys and spent far too much!!!

DD is asleep as she was being a right little madam....DH is dosing on the sofa watching cricket and me...well I'm just about to go and lie on my bed and catch up on some of the mags which have been accumulating on/in my bedside table.

Plan for later....to brave the abyss that is my chest freezer....it really needs clearing out and when i can get it empty, it needs defrosting......

I would expect there is enough food in there to feed us for about three months, I just need to know what....:T

    Catch you later

    Frugalpie

    Hello again.

I've calmed down now :) I've also been into town and done my MS job as well as bought Mr TM his birthday pressies - yes, I did, really. Ok, 1 from me and one each from boys - £25 :D No cards (waste of money, I'll tell him) Also got the boys new school trousers in the M&S 3 for 2 - necessity, not indulgence, as I have to turn DS1's best trousers into shorts courtesy of the huge hole inthe knee :(

I know financially we'll be OK cos I'm getting an inheritance from my dad (when the solicitors get their finger out) so that will pay for the tv and for this year's holiday etc. Dad deffo wanted us to have a holiday after the last 2 years' fiascos, but I refuse to put it toward everyday mundane bills like the leccy! So, I shall get that job (if it's still there, I would quite like it and it'll get me out of the house and meeting adults. It's not shelf stacking ... been there, done that, but I'll not say too much ATM)

However, I shall go off and make a prawn curry in a while. Naan bread, poppadums, rice, a tincture or two (or 4!!)

PP - I remember you telling us about DD's trip last year. I hope she and DH have a great time.

oooh, must dash, got Nels on the phone. Catrch ya later.

    TM xxx

TM - Why not start a business selling old style food for dinner parties and the like (and I could be your taster - bet that prawn curry will be delish:o )

    Worth a thought

Now off to the pub for me cos its too far to go to pick a take away curry!!:D
