Go on Kaz! £19 in CC vouchers is worth nearly £80 in deals tokens. That's not the kind of money you'd throw in the bin is it?

Morning all........(((((HUGS)))) to those who need them.......

OH at the allotment this morning after all the rain...... we decided yesterday to put in some plants I have had in pots in the back garden for weeks, the soil was only damp under the surface, so all that rain has not really saoked in, we need a lot more the really water the ground and replenish the underground water stocks.

Stripped the bed, I got new 4.5tog duvet yesterday for £5 from wilko's the one we are using on the bed is yonks old, I had been thinking of washing it, but its king size, so I would have to take it to the laundrette. I am going to cut it down the middle and overlock the edges, we use them in the boot of the car when we are transporting mucky stuff, when it gets filthy we just chuck them out...............we have an esate car so when the seats are down as well it completely covers the book space, saves a lot of boot cleaning with the hoover!!!!!

Nothing really planned for today, will watch the tennis this afternoon if I can stay awake long enough..........

    morning all!!
well im a very os busy bee today!!!
so far have cleaned bathroom, toilet, two loads of washing out on line, dusted bedrooms and all of downstairs and done hall and kitchen floors!!
just waiting for dd1 to wake up and i'll do living and dining room whilst both dd's play in their room.
feel wiped out now but its my own fault as me and dh have ignored all housework for 4 days and made an effort to spend time together on his days off.
fil is coming over tomorrow for meal(im going to do chilli in sc) and watch the world cup final(they live in france so happy france in final) and visit dd's before he goes home.....so i figured if i had mega blitz on housework today i could just enjoy tomorrow!!

Kaz I've just rung up and enquired for you, if you just pop the vouchers back to them with a covering letter explaining what has happened (I told them you had mislaid the vouchers and only found them again after they'd gone out of date) they will put the points back on to your clubcard.

moggins - you don't really want to go out with Mr TM - he'd probably remind you too much of your OH!!

    Rant coming .......

Can you be done for murder if the judge finds out quite how much work you do to scrimp and save then your OH just wastes it? Hopefully they will have female judges so they'll side with you :)

This morning we got our letter through about gas and leccy. They have upped our DD's by a total of around £100 pcm  I say to Mr TM that we have to cut back on things like HIM leaving every light in the house on and he gives it the "Kevin the teenager 'whatever' shrug and grunt" He will walk in the bedroom, put the tv on as he walks past, pick up something and walk out of the room, leaving the tv on, even if he doesn't go back in there for hours  (I saw him do it so I had to switch it off) I did a budget last week, and had already informed him that not counting the money he spends on CD's and books etc, underestimating on clothes, and not including decorating the house costs, we are still £160 pcm over budget. Now thats about £260 :( I could just weep. We argue, he tells me I'm obsessed with money (I am now only cos he lives like we're earning £50k pa.)

So, I've told him I'll have to get a job. I have an idea of what job to go for - they were looking for people a while ago. It's nights, so won't impact on the kids but if I do get it, it will mean he can't go off on his ATC 'jollies' - even tho he gets paid a bit for them. Not as much as I'd be earning. Hopefully, there is a job still there - I shall speak to one of the SAHD's in the playground next week, cos that's what he does.

What's annoying is that it doesn't matter what tack I take to talk about finances, he won't. His father was bad with money, so he is. He earns it, he spends more than he's got. It doesn't matter if I give it the "if we did this, it would be like an x% pay rise", he won't listen.

How much does a divorce cost? I'm really getting to the end of my tether here.

Ok rant over. I'm off to sort me printer out that won't print my MS paperwork. Just what I need right now :(

Can you give him an *allowance* each week. :D This is how I reined in DH who was just like Mr TM. He also calls me the Power Nazi  but he has finally got the point and has reformed over the last five years. Mind you it took me 20 years to get this far so..................good luck. ;)

Well off to have a shower & watch Dr Who.

Jocket Have fun at the party. Ha Ha.

Have a nice Saturday everyone & ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to those feeling under the weather.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

:grouphug: TM. You have my complete and utter sympathy, our bills haven't gone up by as much as yours but they have still almost doubled! Even though we have low energy lightbulbs everywhere when he stays up till 4am watching DVD's and then lies in bed watching TV in the morning whilst the kids are watching their TV downstairs :(

BTW it costs £69 for a do it yourself divorce :D
