Anyone used RPC Recycle?

Sent my phone in on Tuesday, cheque received today (saturday) for the amount that was quoted.
Really pleased!0 -
Used a fair few times zero issues...always price quoted and always fastFriends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.

RPC were quick and efficient yes, but my offer for an HTC-HD2 was for £64 then they emailed me to say the phone would not switch on and reduced the offer to £12.50. I paid £5 to have the phone posted back and lo and behold it turned on with no problems! Waste of time and money from my perspective. I'm taking it in person to CEX in Manchester tomorrow. Will post if I do better there.0

Do it over the internet with CEX. The feedback on their shops is awful and the internet sale is much better in my experience. Or sell it on Ebay - I've now started doing that with an even better return.0

RPC are pathetic offered me £160 for Iphone 4 but failed to send me the pack to post off my phone, despite several false promises from their admin staff - phone price now dropped, i'm £50 out of pocket and having to look elsewhere - AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!!0

No issues here.
£160 for my iPhone 4 which I sent to them with only a day left before my price guarantee ended. The day after they had checked it and approved it. Just awaiting my £160 BACS payment.
This is the 2nd time I have used them and both times have been brilliant.
I can definitely recommend them

No complaints here. Got £78 for a SGS1 and £8 for a Pixon. Left it a bit late to send it (ended up needing my SGS1 temporarily after cracking my S3 screen!) and it got to them on the final day of the 28 day period. They cancelled my order even though I had proof they'd received it on the final day, a quick e-mail later and they explained they'd been quite busy and the order would be reopened once it was processed (I presume the order was cancelled automatically). Sure enough it was, money sent the next day and was in my bank account 2 days later. Really impressed.
Can I just add, my SGS1 was rooted, but still got the full value for it - surprised to read earlier in this thread that rooted phones are given 50% less value?Slice the Pie challenge - £16.05/£300 -
All went well with me,
sent in a old iphone 4 and payment has been received without problem.0 -
I've just used them for the second time & I'm really happy with the service received on both occasions..they paid me full price quoted for both phones (a blackberry torch & a blackberry curve) even though both times I thought they would recalculate due to the torch having water damage and the curve being temperamental about whether it wanted to switch on or not! The whole process from getting a quote to receiving the money into my bank took about a week both times - I would highly recommend to anyone, they're the only company I will use for mobile recycling after having bad experiences with others.0
