Anyone used RPC Recycle?

  • I can not recommend this company highly enough. I have used them on two occasions, both times were faultless.
I used my own packaging and sent my phone to them (both times) on a Monday morning, by special delivery. On the Tuesday morning I received an email saying my phone had been received and was being tested. On the Tuesday afternoon I received an email saying that the payment had been made. I checked my bank account and the money was in there on the Thursday morning on one occasion and on the Wednesday morning on the other. Brilliant!
  • Have used these guys on many occasions and they offer a good solid service, not always the best possible price but service is steady and consistent.

Always give the price quoted and will use again.

Just registered on their site and have a quote for a phone. Will update when I receive the postage bag etc.

  • I used RPC based on the feedback on this site, I was not disappointed. I sent them a Nokia N86 8MP which they offered £55 for, not the highest offer but chosen for the positive feedback. The 'phone was fully working but very poor cosmetically, they still sent the full offer price by BACS payment, which was in my account 3 working days later. Would definately use them again.
  • I got £50 for my HTC Legend. Very fast service, am now probably going to use it for my wife's phone.

Very happy, got £19.50 for my 4 year old Nokia. No dramas at all, money by BACS as promised, good service and communication.
I did get a chase e-mail after 4 days which I felt was a bit soon. Two of those days were saturday and sunday - I received my pack and envelope on the saturday morning and posted the 'phone the same day!
    Overall, very pleased.
Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I recommend RPC to everyone I know who's thinking of getting rid of their old handsets. I had a blackberry on Vodafone - I was a year in to a two year contract and I'd had enough of the handset being, well, not what it was hyped up to be. I wanted a different phone, plan, and network.

I searched around and chose not to go with Envirofone/Mazuma. Thought RPC might've been a bit dodgy as I'd never heard of them but boy was I wrong!
They offered me £120 for my BB. Envirofone offered £80 and Mazuma £85. Shocking. RPC's customer service was faultless as well as the quick packaging delivery and money transfer. Used the £120 to pay off three months worth of contract so it certainly pays to shop around! :T

Used RPC Recycle this week for my Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 as they quote the best price for me. I noticed that there headquarters was in the centre of Norwich so i could get a work colleague to actually drop it off for me saving me the postage.

Email them to ask whether it could just be dropped off and they replied what it could. Dropped off yesterday morning, email from at 11:45 saying they had received the phone and just received another email this morning about 15 mins ago say they have processed my BACS payment and will be in my bank in 3 days. Overall excellent service and couldnt fault them!
Same deal here - Xperia X10 mailed (Special Delivery) on Friday afternoon and by Monday night my PayPal account had been credited with the amount they quoted.

Would probably use them again - especially in light of my bad experience with Envirofone.
