Well did a BT online today and it showed up OK and there was also an entry for the BT Fee of £0 so seems that Santander got that bit right .
Still no word from the Underwriters in MK about my request to have the Credit Limit increased .0 -
Finally got to see my online account and there are no fees showing.0

I applied on the 22/1/10.
Today (12/3/10) I recieved 2 letters, one dated 17/2/10 asking me to sign the enclosed agreement and return, PLUS another letter dated 5/3/10 asking why I have not returned the 1st letter PLUS also now saying they want some identity documents (though doesn't say which).
I've returned the first agreement with a big cross through it and a letter saying I want to cancel the application due to the obvious unprofessionalism of their company!
That was a close one by the sound of it!0 -

Why on earth did you do that .....we know Santander are a shambles but you are giving up a 0%-0% Card0 -

I've had to pay off the main card I wanted to transfer which had a 0% balance transfer deal that ended end of Feb. I do have another card who's 0% deal expires end of April but to be honest listening to all these stories about getting charged 3% etc I'd rather just pay that one off too! I've got no faith in them actually sorting a card out before the end of April anyway.
Plus I initially requested a transfer from the card that I've now already paid off so I'd have to TRY and cancel that transfer and then try and negotiate the new transfer. That would never go smoothly with this lot lol.0 -

Well I posted a story yesterday about NOT getting charged a BT Fee
As for your BT well that's why I have never asked for a BT during the App'n Process. I do it once I have got the card in my hands . I'm sure you could have sorted it when you activated the card I'd imagine but hey -ho!!!0 -
all these stories about getting charged 3%
It's pretty clear on the summary sheet and section 6.2 of your T&C's (and they do send you a Customer Copy to retain) if you've got the 0% fee card.
Anyone who's suprised they were charged a fee obviously didn't even look at the bit about "Charges". How many times to we need to tell people to read what they're signing?"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

And it is also in the Summary Box on the final sheet but have there not been folk on here saying that they def have the 0%-0% card but have still been charged a BT Fee?...Given what Santander have been doing it's hardly surprising .0 -
Mini-update...
still no news from Santander - not even from the complaints team 6 working days after making a complaint which should have been replied to within 3 to 5 working days.
Ive just tried to get through to their complaints team but was on hold for 27 minutes then cut-off immeditely after being put through to a real person.
In desperation Ive just rung the Ombudsman who is sending a written complaint on my behalf... but the process takes 8 weeks from todays date.
My advice to anyone with a complaint is to ring the Ombudsman TODAY. Dont leave it !!0 -

Yeah dude I read your post about NOT being charged a fee but it's the other posts about BEING charged a fee that put me off! Plus as you say all the folks who are certain they have the 0%-0% card (and it did say it on mine - I checked!) and are still being charged a fee...
I normally request a transfer when I apply for the card as it's normally a painfree process. A couple of weeks later and I have the plastic in my sweaty palm and all's good. Though you make a valid point, I'm going to wait until I get the card next time! And yes I possibly could have sorted it when I activated the card but deemed it not worth the hassle after what I've read...0
