Santander zero no fee 0% 12 mth bal transfer

Not sure if this has already been mentioned somewhere, but great offer for existing Santander and Alliance and Leicester account holders:

Santander Zero credit card: No balance transfer fee 0% for 12 months
(would usually be 3%).

I have just applied :)

Bumping this up as this is indeed a good offer for existing Santander (Abbey) and A&L a/c holders. If you do not have a bank a/c then simply apply for one and then you become eligible. A fee free 0% BT is hard to come by!

Nice to see some movement however not for me. I had a Zero card a while back with a 'low' 3.Something limit. Couple that with the requirement to obtain a Current account and I'm out. I'll keep my credit powder dry and wait for someone else to enter the fray. Interesting to see what limit you get.

Just something to think about, I got given a credit limit £10 more than the amount I put on the form to transfer lol

all gone ok otherwise, just had myfirst payment taken by direct debit

I'm trying - again. I applied five months ago when they did the same offer as a promotion (only available by invitation) and they completely - I mean completely - screwed up the application process. I have just finished complaining about their mishandling of the whole thing and got some compensation.

If I manage to apply OK online this second time, I will feel most happy.

I've asked for a huge balance transfer so it will be interesting to see what happens. The woman who dealt with the complaint said that she's never seen any big credit limits on such accounts - doh!

How huge is huge? Looking to apply for one of these in February if still available once my Virgin card is updated to Settled. Looking for at least 10K to stooze.

    Hi

I have had an Abbey Zero card for the past couple of years. Anyone know if you can either now apply for a Santander Zero card or whether the balance transfer deal will also apply to existing cards?

    thanks

Just applied over the phone - as always not very professional BUT the outcome was I asked for £14k (just to test them) and got £10.1k.

Perfect for moving the £9.5k on 0% for transfers for 9 months from Virgin (no fees at all) found on here previously - apparently you can wait a while before you activate the card - so if it all works out 21 months interest free on £10k.

As well as £100 each for the 2 Santander Current Accounts and 6% interest on two lots of £2.5k moving the same money around over the course of two days.
