You can't get one if you've already got a Santander Zero card.
How about if you have recently closed one? They told me you cannot apply for 6 months after closing one - is this true? Does anyone have any experience of whether they uphold that? Have an A&L account and it is showing in my account area.
Many thanks

Did my weekly catch-up call this morning
I was told that my application had not progressed and was still stuck in the system (grr). I was given the phone number of 0800 3899905 to call and do a manual application and, hey presto, they extracted my details from the online application and I was accepted within 3 minutes. I'd advise anyone in the same boat to ring the number.
Now I just need to wait for the forms to return. Zzzzzz...0 -
Card received today.
After about 30 minutes on the phone managed to transfer £9595 to my Virgin CC (9 month zero deal)
The 12 months started on 22.2.10 even though I received it today.
Some effort required but was worth it in the end.0 -
You could have transferred it on the application?0

My BT value was sat on Egg Money 3 days after the 0% start date (and in a LTSB Vantage account making 4% just a few days later.)

Weirdly, if I use that old card's 16 digit number and the two other bits of security I had back then I can manage my new Santander Zero card online!0 -
Not even bothering to rant...:mad:0

Finally got my card today ..Limit is a disappointing £2200 which is a lot less than I wanted to allow me to BT amounts .
Are these limits set in stone or is it worth asking for an increase once I have worked out what i want to BT ?
On the application I didn't mention any BT's as I hadn't worked out then what I would want to transfer .
EDIT : Telephoned Card Services but not sure if the person I spoke to was in the best Dept as they seem to have so many different phone numbers .She said best thing to do was write to the Underwriters in Milton Keynes and ask for a Credit Increase and explain why .0 -
Someone mentioned earlier about servicing their new card online and using their old signon details .I just signed on my Credit Card logon with my existing ( nil balance ) Santander card and the new card received today is showing as an alternative on the drop down menu so that would suggest ( despite what others have said ) that you CAN get a 0% card even though you have an existing Santander card .I did say previously that I could see nowhere on the application details that having an existing card prevented you from getting this 0% one .0
