Did my weekly chase up call a week ago and was told forms sent that day.
Still nothing. Its been 7 weeks now.
I couldnt be more angry at the moment...
You just have to resign yourself to the fact that the process takes a long time .My forms were supposed to be sent ( but possibly not actually sent) on the 22nd Jany but it was weeks later when they arrived .I sent them back soon as they arrived and about a week ago I got my Pin Number but still no card .0 -
Not sure whether it is of any relevance but my Pin Number arrived a day before the card.0

Agree completely - I'm not even bothering to chase my application. Relative applied on 21st January, has been accepted, has received and returned signed credit agreement, still not got card or BT funds yet."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Balance transfers have gone through - I applied for them by phone last Thursday.0

Update everyone - a payment of £2k has been made onto my Halifax credit card. Not the £3,600 I asked for but at least it's happened and I know where I stand.
So it doesn't look like I've got much of a credit limit on the Santander card & I'll have to dig into the savings to pay off the remaining Halifax balance, 2 x Virgin cards and Tesco card when it runs out in August.
But better than nothing....
Now will need to check I've not been charged a BT fee when I get the card/statement as I am an A&L customer (getting the 6% interest on the current accounts).0 -
Well I rang the CC tracking line again today and have been told that the approval was posted to me last Tuesday.
Again, I have been told to wait another 5 working days before calling again.
That will make a total wait time so far of 8 weeks to get anything back from them since my online application.
I was told today that my application has taken so long as it had to go to the underwriters to "investigate" me... nice  do they not know I'm a saint ?:A0 -
Got my Pin Number soon after the 18th Feby but no card so called up today and the guy said both Pin and Card were sent on the 16th ( funny how the Pin letter is dated the 18th) and to wait until this coming Saturday and call back if it hasn't arrived ....Despite me saying about the length of time the between the 16th and today the 25th he could not say why it had taken so long .What I suspect happens is that the instruction to issue a card was sent on the 16th so it probably hasn't actually beeen sent yet .0

Although I'm better off than many in this process I have yet another example of the magnificence of Santander.
I applied online, received and returned the acceptance letter, received Pin, received card, phoned to apply for Balance Transfers, BTs successfully paid on other cards.
Today I have received a letter telling me they haven't received the signed Agreement etc. so haven't been able to issue the card. They also need to verify my identity, which they didn't first time.
I don't think I'll bother phoning to point out the error of their ways, might just make their head explode.0 -

Other Lloyds @ highest: £9800 Feb: £9800
Current debt: £234200 -

Exactly the same thing has happened to me!
Not sure whether to bother ringing them or not... I'd done well uo to now - got the card and pin (the day before), and balance transfers gone through.0
