Anyway I hope she gets a good credit limit which will give us some more money to stooze, £10000 would be nice in my Newcastle account paying 4%. That would make us £400 over the 12 months as I don't pay tax.
It is not possible to make a transfer to your bank a/c - so unless it is the money you have on a card to BT, there is no way of getting hold of cash to stooze. And using a CC cheque or cash withdrawal is simply not an option to consider!0 -
But you balance transfer the money to Egg and withdraw it from there. Simples.0

She can transfer the money into her Egg card and then transfer the money to our current account, no problem.0 -

Anyone know how to get rid of the PPI insurance on this? Got my forms last week and have seen that PPI insurance has been included (although I never requested it and was never asked if I wanted it). I don't want to include this but am wondering if it is a condition of the card.0

My only bug bear would be that they dont tell you what your credit limit is likely to be before you sign up. If the limit isnt worth having then whats the point of another card?
The paperwork says 0% on bt's and cc cheques, does that mean no interest or no charge for using these features?0 -

When I received my forms I couldn't see anything about PPI and I read it through twice. Where is the reference? Did you apply online or phone?0 -
This is an Egg credit card we have had for years and I have used it to balance transfer money to our current account from other credit cards many times over the last 7 years or so
I'm thinking of doing the same with my Egg card. Will i just be charged their standard BT rate to do this or will it be treated as a cash advance?0
