I applied on the 24th Jan and thought I would leave it a while as I havent heard anything from them,so I have given them a call today to be told they have even looked at the application yet!! So 15 days after applying i still dont know if I will be accepted or not! Surely it cant be that hard or difficult to have a look and say yes or no? Is anyone else still waiting for theirs? Is there anyway of getting to know quicker, surly they only have so long to look at them? Please advice as I dont now alot when it comes to credit cards.

My wife applied 20th January and has had nothing yet.
Like people have stated in other posts, Abbey had the worst customer services anywhere and staff didn't no the products, lets hope Santander can get a grip and improve the situation but this isn't looking good and I don't hold out much hope.
It seems they have been swamped with applications, not surprising when this is the only credit card not charging a balance transfer fee to transfer to a 0% offer.
The only people caught by surprise seems to be Santander.:eek:0 -
I have a current account with Abbey/Santander that I have had forever, but I also have an Abbey/Santander credit card. Anyone know if I can still apply for this Zero card?
I have a balance on a Mint card that I'd like to transfer to a 0%, and already have the Virgin card. Abbey have already sent me a letter offering 0% BT for 12 months on my current CC with them but that comes with 3% fee and I still have a balance of around £500 on that card so don't really want to put a BT on it if I don't have to...

No, if you've already got an Abbey card then you won't get the 0% fee card.
Have you thought about transferring the £500 balance to your Virgin card, then transfer the full Virgin amount onto the now-empty Abbey card a month later? Risk the 0% offer won't be there, but worth considering."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
This seem's to be Santandar?Abbey whole attitude to any quiry i have raised with the, staff don't seem to know infomation, call sent staff who cut you off the only time i get any semse is to call the customer complaints number which i don't have to hand but if you key in Abbey into the "saynoto0870" web site it's listed their.

Are you sure about that ...I can't see where it says that
