  • thanks Di, this one is only a small amount the big one is with the FOS, but it is a start,

    this is what i have -emailed to Lloyds as they clearly have not investigated my complaint properly

    Thank you for your prompt response to my complaint regarding the miss-selling of a PPI policy for one of my loans Ref xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Within your final response you have mentioned that after fully investigating my complaint you are un-able to find any supporting evidence of overlapping insurance policies,

    As I mentioned within my initial complaint I had income protection at the time of the being advised to take out your policy, and this income protection policy is still active.

    The policy number for my income protection is xxxxxxxxx and it is with Lloyds TSB, and was started on 26th February 2001 when I was sold this policy to replace what was an exisitjng policy with payment shield prior to this date. My life insurance is with Scottish Widows ( a Lloyds Tsb group company ) policy number xxxxxxxxxxx, critical illness with Scottish Widows policy number xxxxxxxxxx, mortgage payment protection with Winterthur Life.

    I feel that if my complaint has have been properly investigated you would be aware of this policy, or at least asked me for more information, however your letter mentions that you have no evidence of overlapping insurance policies.

    I am currently aware that Lloyds Tsb are being investigated by the FSA for not handling customer complaints properly, and therefore I am giving you a final opportunity

    I can appreciate that your letter was a final response, however I would like you to re-consider your decision with this new information to hand. You should be able to get the records of this policy from your files, but if not I can forward a copy of the original income protection policy which I do have to hand.

    I am also still awaiting a response on loan number xxxxxxxxxxxxx which was sent within my same complaint. And as previously mentioned within this e-mail, my income protection policy was with payment shield and then Lloyds when this other loan was taken out.

    I would appreciate your prompt response to this additional information to enable me to forward my complaint to the FOS if you still reject the miss-selling of the policy or the offer you have made is not in line with my original request. My original request was to refund me all of my premiums and associated interest that I paid in relation to these LPI policies, plus 8% simple on the money i have paid.
    I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free

    if i have to take these other 2 to the FOS i think i'll send Eric a statement in the form of an e-mail every month thankin him and letting him know how much this is costing Lloyds with the additional 8%.

    large loan 8% is now adding £38 per month
    the 2 small loans total £40 per month in 8%

    so the longer they leave it the more this will keep totalling, and the higher these values will become.

    happy days. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
