LLoyds Tsb Loan PPI

  • personally I think this is why the recordings take so long to get, because they need to edit them to suit themselves.

the good thing is that they have to follow standard sales scripts so these discrepancies show up when the FOS go through them.

one thing you could try is to get the itemised phone bill information from your provider and compare the phone call duration and then use this against them. i think it costs a couple of quid to request a full itemised bill. (although i'm not sure if you can do this online by managing you phone account).

the more you can demonstrate the discrepancies the worse it looks for Lloyds.

i have heard nothing from Lloyds on my 2 earlier loans except the initial confirmation, this again will demonstrate they do not investigate properly as these claims are becuase i had and still have alternative policies which they knew about and would have prevented the ppi from paying out.

they should ideally contact me for more information on these policies if they investigate properly. the good thing is i have all the original insurance details from back then as all in with my mortgage agreements.

they still have 5 weeks on the seconf claims, the main one is with the FOS.
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free

    Hi

Yes your right there, they definately spend time editing conversations.

I just wish I could post this one on here that lasted approx 6 mins.

They have defo tampered with it, and they made it so obvious, by the time my hubby answered a few questions the guy on the other end did start to ask something else but it cut off!!!!

However, someone is trying to find this letter for me to send, and am going to report to the ICO as well, oh and take a copy of the recording too.

Good idea about the itemised telephone request as well, think I will get on to this later, cheers.

I totally agree with you, they do NOT investigate complaints properly at all, that is another they made plain obvious, and it seems even though these are possibly the ones to be punished that they still do not care, or have any intention of improving themselves.
Probably because they don't know how.

I'm sure my son who has needs would do far a better job than them.;)

  • i thought i was getting paranoid and it was just me,
obviously its the norm for them to continue to mis-lead people.

  • they are an absolute JOKE!!!!

i am hoping that the other phone calls will now materialise as the FOS will clearly be able to determine mine has been edited, and will no doubt request the true copies.

maybe i'll get some compensation from their massive fine they are going to get for still trying to mis-lead me.
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

no such luck, but at least it should make it easier fo rthe FOS to come to a decision.:j:j:j

  • hooray, got a goodwill offer from Lloyds on one of my smaller loans, its not what i expected so i am refering it back to them. it is their final offer, however they state that according to their records i had not other insurance at the time.

problem is, it was and is still with them, i have a copy of the original agreement for this policy so will forward to them pointing out that they clearly have not investigated my claim properly.

they have not asked me for supporting evidence so i will nor forward to them.

typical Lloyds, they know they are in the wrong thats why they have offered a goodwill gesture.

i will keep all informed as to how i gat on.

i will e-mail the additional information to them
